Livingston is solid - great delivery. I watched an Australian show called Rake, which is another dysfunctional comedic show. Two others shows I recommend are Toast of London and IT Crowd - if you like British Humor

Rake was one of my all time favorites!

Love Brian Regan on Loudermilk.

Anyone know the story behind this?
(Or if it’s true)

I read today that in 1979 Brad McCrimmon played 60 out of 62 minutes in a memorial cup game.

They were down a defenseman who broke his arm, so the coach kept him out there and just rotated his partner. His only rest was a 2 minute penalty. His team lost on an OT goal after McCrimmon thought a play was icing, but it wasn't.

Sweat memories for McCrimmon

Now we know why his nickname was "Beast".

Shameless series finale next Sunday. Kind of bittersweet in that the show has been amazing overall, but has lacked something ever since Fiona left. I've loved the Kev and V stuff as a focal point, but Debbie is boring and she's been way to integral to it since Emmy Rossum quit. It's also tough to see what they're doing with Frank's story but it makes sense and is brutally raw, like the show has been from the start.

RIP Private Hannibal Shirley Dobbs of F Troop

Actor James Hampton, best known as the bumbling bugler of "F Troop" and Michael J. Fox's understanding dad in "Teen Wolf," died Wednesday from complications due to Parkinson's, his family and agent said.

The Lone Star state native and Forth Worth resident was 84.

Hampton played bugler Hannibal Dobbs on "F Troop," which ran for just two seasons on ABC, between 1965 and 1967, but went on to enjoy cult devotion in syndication.

Hampton was one of seven actors who appeared in at least 63 of that show's 65-episode run. Only 98-year-old Larry Storch, who played Cpl. Randolph Agarn, is alive today, according to the IMDb.

Larry Storch is still alive?

Holy crap!

Been bingeing (so?) Daredevil. Pretty well written from my perspective.

Kim’s Convenience is also really good.

The *new* Captain America was a collegiate and semi-professional hockey goalie.

All the more reason for me to root for the guy, despite everyone else hating his guts.

What else is new?

A bittersweet day a month ago as Disney/ABC closed down master control in Manhattan for good and moved it to the Houston area

This show was cancelled after 6 episodes

ABC announced the cancellation of Police Squad! after four of its six episodes had aired in March 1982. The final two episodes were aired that summer. According to the DVD commentary for "A Substantial Gift" (Episode 1), then-ABC entertainment president Tony Thomopoulos said that Police Squad! was canceled because "the viewer had to watch it in order to appreciate it," meaning that the viewer had to pay very close attention to the show in order to get much of the humor, while most other TV shows did not demand as much effort from the viewer. In its annual "Cheers and Jeers" issue, TV Guide magazine called the explanation for the cancellation "the most stupid reason a network ever gave for ending a series."

watched season one of What/If, Rene Zellwiger (sp?), pretty good, seen better

About to begin Startup tonight

Loved The Spy with Borat:)

Tripped over a new show with Justin Theroux called The Mosquito Coast. It seems promising and I'm going to watch all of it because I thought his last show, The Leftovers, was one of the best shows ever, and the fact it didn't do better ratings wise still shocks me.

I vaguely recall the Harrison Ford/River Phoenix movie based on the same book back in the 80s, but this is a series and will be far more in depth.

watched first few episodes of Startup last night, liked it alot so far

Just watched the first part of the The Crime of the Century, it`s not easy to watch, especially for a recovering addict such as myself. It`s absolutely maddening to watch, and terribly heartbreaking

This won`t be everyone`s cup of tea
