Oh my! Wow that's just ungodly right there!
Last thing I wanna eat a bacon/bacon flavored product in is jelly beans haha.
Scope is making a bacon flavored mouthwash...
i never thought i would say 'bacon is overrated' but my god...my bacon love is not on that level..
I'm marketing a Jim flavored mouthwash. I think it could work.
Yup. I won't have bottled beer for another 3 weeks. Then at least a week to bottle condition.
pretty obvious...
I completely agree...But I don't care
EDIT: Red Dawn!
Then you haven't had a good, 'real' margarita. Sour mix, salted rim, and habanero infused aged Golden tequila? Good ****.
What kind of beer are you making? You may have mentioned this before but I missed it.
I have a recipe for a clone of Nugget Nectar...it's a hoppy amber ale.
Sounds good. I love Nugget Nectar but it isn't distributed here.
Will there ever be another NJ professional sports team?
I know the Nets were considered "NJ"... but they were always a NY team, let's be real.
Football team? Baseball team? (Baseball kinda sucks though...) Basketball team? Soccer team?
ANYTHING?!
The Nets weren't ever considered a New York team.... maybe after they made it known they were going to Brooklyn, but that was it.
If you mean another New Jersey team by name (otherwise you wouldn't have named half of the sports you did), then no. Marketing perspective, teams would greatly prefer having NY in the name, even if they play, practice, and have offices in NJ (see: the Jets, Giants, and Red Bulls).
I always saw the Nets as a NY team, that decided to try NJ in the name and then got the hell out of there to go to Brooklyn...
But that doesn't really matter to me to much. Although I HATE how teams like Jets/Giants are NY teams in NJ. Really agitates me because they are not in NY, so how can they be a NY team? Just doesn't make sense to me. Also makes me root against them in anything they do, no respect for them at all.
EDIT: Also, why were the Nets retro jerseys "NY"? If I remember correctly.
The last few years the Nets may have "tried to be a NY team." Ratner bought the team somewhere around what, 2003 or 2004? His goal was always known to be to move the team to Brooklyn. It just ended up taking longer than he planned. Of course he wanted the team to move because he's a developer and the center piece of his whole development project included an arena (and he needed the team for the arena), but that's another story entirely.
For the Jets/Giants, they started in New York at least, and just kept the same name. The Giants played in the Polo Grounds and Yankee Stadium before Giants Stadium was ever built. The Jets were playing in Shea Stadium before moving to Giants Stadium as well. Its not like they were founded, placed in NJ, and called themselves something different.
As for the Nets, those retro jerseys probably said NY because they used to be the New York Nets for a number of years in the ABA. They became the NJ Nets later on after entering into the NBA.
i like buds as much as the next guy, but i didnt understand one word of that
Well, this day ended on a good note for me. Just got an e-mail from a guy at Vaxjo Lakers, he said I could use their ice during my stay in Sweden which will be like during two weeks. I did this in September, spent a couple of hours on ice almost every day just skating, shooting and doing drills. Gets a bit boring by oneself but it's good though.
He also said that the national teams of Sweden and Slovakia are having camps there this week, unfortunately I will arrive too late to watch that, would be pretty awesome to just sit and watch those practices.
