wait so they made it, but held back on the spiciness for you because of your whiteness? or they are going after the white demographic and decided to ease up on the heat?

I asked for hot sauce/salsa to go with my supposedly spicy chicken. I know that they don't make spicy things too spicy because the majority of the population can't handle heat. However, the salsa I got was salsa verde. Sometimes that **** is wicked hot, so I just took it. It was a slightly peppered tinged tomatillo thing. Delicious, but not at all "spicy" or "hot".

I want something that at least claims to have a Habanero in it, or is green from fresh Jalapenos or something. Not this tomatillo nonsense.

Yeah, you'd love this joint then.

I just love spicy food though, so I think I've built up a bit of a tolerance. I put Tabasco sauce on basically everything for flavor. It's not even really hot anymore to me.

Academic now, on my way over to Knox for a class. invite me over for chicken, I got lab at 5 today and will be ere till 9 or so haha

Haha I don't go to UB anymore, I transferred out a few years ago because they didn't have the major I was changing to. I used to live in Wilkeson, then Porter my Freshman/Sophomore years.

marinate in italian dressing all afternoon. delicious alone, in a salad, on a sandwich.

I grow bored of Italian chicken, unfortunately. I'm thinking cayenne, black pepper, garlic powder and a little lime juice.

ok, that sounds good. I'd throw in some onion powder and just a tiny bit of olive oil though if you're adding a wet component. Will help the flavor 'cling' to the chicken.

Toss in a touch of ground coriander. It'll add a touch of sweetness and citrus flavor that will compliment the lime juice and garlic nicely.

Edit: I don't mean cilantro, I mean the Americanized ground coriander. Which is ground coriander fruits, I believe?

Will there ever be another NJ professional sports team?

I know the Nets were considered "NJ"... but they were always a NY team, let's be real.

Football team? Baseball team? (Baseball kinda sucks though...) Basketball team? Soccer team?

ANYTHING?!

Isn't there a WNBA team in Newark? I only know since they have some sort of banner hanging in the Rock where they seem to have won some sort of division or something. I've also had free tickets pushed on me (and refused them).

What ever happened to the NY/NJ Metro Stars? Or is that the team that plays in Harrison under a different name?

The Liberty. They're playing in the Prudential Center for 3 seasons because the renovation at MSG is a 3 year process that primarily occurs during the summers (when they play, when the Rangers/Knicks aren't). Some stuff goes on year round, but back of house things that don't affect the ability to hold events. The majority of the work being during the summer though leaves the building dark for a few months and forced the Liberty to relocate.

The NY/NJ Metro Stars re-branded to the NY Red Bulls. Still in Harrison, but only use NY in their name now. Marketing purposes.

I did it without the onion powder or olive oil this time - it's good. Next time I'll throw those two things on.

I don't think I have coriander, although I have so many damn spices and herbs I might... But I know I have cilantro.

Get some yogurt/heavy cream cloves of garlic and white onion marinate Chicken breasts overnight. Grill up the next day, bam Shawarma on the fly.

That sounds kind of awesome, actually.

Might have to try this...

It's really good. Heavy cream gives it more flavor, yogurt (greek or whole) if you are a health nut. Olive oil is optional as well. Some use some don't. black pepper or any spices.

What I don't get is that she has the potential to be "hawt"

Are we talking about the girl from the meme, or the chick who was following you around?

Seriously, to me that sounds like a good opportunity. When you're in college you might turn them down even if you're single, but once you're out you know better.

She has a 15 minute video on youtube where she just answers questions sent in to her and she's surprisingly funny and normal.

Ya, I saw that and I thought to myself, I'd boyfriend her so hard. Then I realised that out of the two of us, I'm the creepy one. :(

These people, they need to learn that stereotyping white people into non-spicy salsa is not okay. I need to straighten them out on this next time.

One benefit of being brown is I always get my food exactly the level of spiciness I ask them for. They know I'm good for it.
