Oh please. You make it seem like people are showing up to your work and attacking you. You’re getting outed on a public forum of which you voluntarily participated in. You argued incessantly about this topic and how right you were. Now you rightfully get called out for being wrong and impatient and you’re the victim? Please. You couldn’t even get through your sad sappy post without taking a shot at the player yet again. Cry me a river.

Hey guys, I take issue with anyone calling me a coward.

Sure, I've incessantly made posts about Slaf while he was struggling.

Sure, I ran away when he was doing good.

Sure, I come back as he's slumping.

But truly, all of you are toxic !
Maybe you can ask the forum volunteer why I couldn't comment but I didn't run off whatsoever. In fact I had written a comment praising Slafkovsky right when I realised I couldn't publish it. But putting the whole thing together, and with the latent fury many of you clearly carry, it's clear my presence was not welcome -- so I respect that. And why shouldn't I? Dredging my comments on another platform back into HFBoards and taking shots when I'm not around is a You problem, though. I don't have any interest in interacting with people who don't want to interact with me. It isn't sappy of me to hope you can understand that.

As for Slafkovsky, he's not scoring at his crazy pace but he's already proven he's much better than before. That's growth which proves he belongs in the NHL. It doesn't matter what he does from this point to the end of the season, he has a lot more upon which to build for the season after. Plenty to look forward.

Hope for more debate on other subject and hopefully with nothing going into this type of disproportionate response.
I think there's plenty to discuss outside of Slafkovsky. While he's being a bit uh, logarithmic rather than parabolic right now, I don't think there's any chance anyone reasonable would argue he doesn't belong in the NHL. His growth has been incredible, he is on track to do important things in the NHL. Chapeau to you and your vision (or was it blind faith?).

There is absolutely a lot more passionate subject(Hutson, Reinbacher arrival, 2024 draft, Suzuki taking another step, etc.) coming up outside Slaf since the picture here is becoming clearer.

As for my vision on Slaf, to be perfectly honest, the consensus was so strongly against him that i thought it was a very easy, rewarding "bet" to go with MSL and a talented 18YO with a great skillset and against the crowd of emotional habs fan.

It was just a perfect, easy situation to be a contrarian. (In the summer, after his bad 1st season). Its nothing about my vision nor my hockey-analysis acuity but more about my ability to recognise a good bet, texas holdem experience maybe.

I think it may be a bit about blind faith tho too, sincerely i think we are in a very good spot with the current administration. It may sound like blind faith, but i sincerely and genuinely believe competent person are running our team right now. A nice contrast to what we have been acustomed too.

Agree for the logarithmic, good one 😂😂.

I figure you'd be happy to stop reading 'garbage negativity' but seems not. An adult knows where he's not wanted -- between (mod) mean and cruel comments at my person, and certain users taking a personal dislike to anything I said, I figured it best to stop commenting. Then I saw people from here stalking my personal and generally empty twitter account from here too. I don't understand what you people want. A pound of flesh for arguing that a 1OA who isn't producing shouldn't have been rushed? Okay, I stopped posting.

Slaf had a poor game last night but he's heads-and-shoulders better than he was before. There's a lot to enjoy there. Have at it.

Jesus Christ , whenever I watch hockey with my girl she always points slaf out cuz he looks so young and asks me who is he?

I reply with : Oh that's nobody important honey :help:

Then I divert her attention to Ylonen as a smoke screen since he looks like Voldemort out there (no disrespect)

It's too late bruh, she knows exactly who he is.

FWIW I always thought you made the Slaf thread interesting whether or not I felt you were just being contrarian sometimes. Sure got people talking ;)
