Yeah, they would pretty much have to include Quinn to get Jack, so the whole basis of the trade explodes right there.
Didn’t know thatIt's absurd even if your only criteria is top speed.
He got up to as high as 21 MPH on the goal he scored against Denmark. Hagelin at his best, is up around 23.
I wouldn’t trade that pick for peace in the Middle EastFor argument's sake, the Debs take Kakko. We're on the clock at #2 and Vancouver comes calling for Hughes. What would it take for you to even consider trading the pick?
Seems reasonable. That's "average pro level". Skating is one of his weakest qualities and the one that he should work on improving the most.
However, if Hughes is there at 2, I'd glady take a package of Horvat, Boeser and the 10th overall and then have Gorton find a way to trade up to 4 and take Cozens or Dach.
Jesus Christ. What the hell are you on man? However, if Hughes is there at 2, I'd glady take a package of Horvat, Boeser and the 10th overall and then have Gorton find a way to trade up to 4 and take Cozens or Dach.
Rejected. I wouldn't consider any deal without Petterson/Q. Hughes. However, if Hughes is there at 2, I'd glady take a package of Horvat, Boeser and the 10th overall and then have Gorton find a way to trade up to 4 and take Cozens or Dach.

Pick is virtually untouchable.
Get ready to see that Bobby Orr goal at least 200 timesSeems like it's fair for the Blues to make the SCF.
I wonder what very memorable moment they'll be on the wrong side of this time. Something akin to Bobby Orr's Flying Goal, or "Gretzky had it, lost it"?
Oh wow I thought I posted that in the Around the NHL thread.Get ready to see that Bobby Orr goal at least 200 times
But I’ll predict the Blues get an OT goal overturned for being offsides and then immediately give one up, or they score an own goal that ends up being the series winner
I think Pronman admitted previously that he didn't watch Kakko much and based some of his opinions from what he heard from other peoplePronman has Dach as a better skater than Kakko. That's a bit of a mistake imo
It’s the offseason, every thread is the sameOh wow I thought I posted that in the Around the NHL thread.
Serves me right for having too many tabs open...
I have so many things to say about this, but I’m just going to settle in saying that Pronman’s a hackI think Pronman admitted previously that he didn't watch Kakko much and based some of his opinions from what he heard from other people

I would not even move it for Pettersson & Boeser. However, if Hughes is there at 2, I'd glady take a package of Horvat, Boeser and the 10th overall and then have Gorton find a way to trade up to 4 and take Cozens or Dach.

I’d rather have a homegrown franchise player for onceI’d move either Hughes or Kakko for Pettersson straight up. That guy is going to be a top 10 player in the league without a doubt, maybe among the best. Him and Dahlin are the most valuable teenagers in the world.
I’d rather have a homegrown franchise player for once
Hughes small space skating and puck handle sets him above Kakko.
