For argument's sake, the Debs take Kakko. We're on the clock at #2 and Vancouver comes calling for Hughes. What would it take for you to even consider trading the pick?

Seems reasonable. That's "average pro level". Skating is one of his weakest qualities and the one that he should work on improving the most.

His top speed is above average and his skating in tight areas is excellent.

Calling him a league average skater is just poor analysis.

the whole thing is based on the 'we should trade for all the staal brothers' theory and that the canucks would give him anything to have both hughes so quinn isn't an option

Pronman has Dach as a better skater than Kakko. That's a bit of a mistake imo

I think Pronman admitted previously that he didn't watch Kakko much and based some of his opinions from what he heard from other people

I’d move either Hughes or Kakko for Pettersson straight up. That guy is going to be a top 10 player in the league without a doubt, maybe among the best. Him and Dahlin are the most valuable teenagers in the world.
