I think the 92/93 Sharks lost 71 games, but that was over an 84 game sample.

The 1974-75 Caps were unbelievably bad. They went 8 - 67 - 5 (.131).

They surrendered 446 goals against.

They went through three coaches.

Their team goaltending was .854.

THIRTEEN different players were -40 or worse (incl. all-time worst -82 Bill Mikkelson).

Their 2nd leading scorer had 35 points.

They went 1-39-0 on the road. After their one and only road win (near the end of the season, @ the almost-as-bad California Golden Seals), the players hoisted a garbage can in the dressing room and marched it around, pretending it was the Stanley Cup.

Their roster is bad but Coach Quinn is one of the worst examples of nepotism based hiring currently in the NHL. Never should have been given the Rangers job if not for his connections to the Boston mafia running the Rangers front office at the time (and still). Gets gifted the USA Hockey head coaching job for the 2022 Winter Olympics, predictably the team was terrible. Somehow again was gifted another NHL head coaching job by Grier (another Drury/Boston mafia connection). The fact he hasn't even had to earn his stripes with an AC job or an AHL job is ridiculous.
