Fitting title.

Our problems are well documented in here, so I'll just note that Lavvy's seat must be getting quite hot.

He won't be left without work.

Bring it all on arena, guys, I give you permission. Bring palm trees to the arena, shirts and T-shirts with palm trees, caps, bring palm oil, bananas and coconuts, bring manure and throw it on the ice. It will be a victory for the fans.

The team continuing to lose is never a win for the home fans regardless of what temper tantrums they throw in response to it.

All the booing the past decade has helped?

Fans and media too often overstate the impact upset fans have. Especially with the Sabres over the past decade.
No, you don't get it, we mean where I live. Sometimes the owner and the team have to see the fans disappointed. And it often works. In the USA it might not work that way, I can't say for sure.

I mean, the most glaring outcome of upset fans remains unsold tickets and lack of revenue.
And that has yet to "force" Pegula and the GMs he has hired to make better decisions.

Sabres fans have been upset for a long time. And that has not meant anything more than the Sabres brass getting defensive.

We get it, were living in reality ;)

It's the holidays, many family are taking there kids or families to games, have tickets that were presents or from work etc Maybe that changes after the new year. You will almost always have Canadian fans coming down for games too (although usually rooting for other teams or neutrals)

Your talking about a fan base that came up with a ticket reselling scheme to Canadian fans to make money.

Well then force the owner to take action, he is just safe and doesn't care.

Why do Canadian fans go to Buffalo games? Even though it's impossible here.

I missed something. What's the deal with palm trees?

According to Kevyn, it’s why he can’t get any good players (well, that and taxes). Which tracks logically because you see other cold weather teams in high-tax regions struggling just as mightily, like the Jets and Wild. And also isn’t at all insulting to players who *have* chosen to sign here long-term like Dahlin and Thompson.

Truly masterful GMing. Thank goodness he held that press conference.

Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada is a literal 20-30 minute drive to the Sabres arena. Niagara Falls, ON, CAN isn't all that much further.

Many people from southern Ontario (a province in Canada) grew up Sabres fans listening to broadcasts, and eventually watching them. Given how easy it is to cross the Canada/US border in the Buffalo area.......it's not an obstacle at all.

That's why both the Canadian and US national anthems get sung before Sabres games -- there is a fairly significant percentage of fans that are Canadian.

I would love to see it.

Accessibility, access, availability and pricing to Southern Ontario who can cannot get tickets to Toronto.
Gotcha.

No, I just thought it was just Canadian fans going to Sabres games, not Sabres fans. I thought they were some kind of masochists.

No, but he has cut expenses (staff, payroll) because of his ever-shrinking ticket sales. At some point the penny may drop that it's the product on the ice.

As for tonight's game, I wonder how much untouchable Miller's game has fallen off. Ranger fans have lamented their pothole ridden defense.

I feel like this is a game Buffalo will win.

Lose to bad teams and beat good teams. Kind of sums up Buffalo.
