No, you don't get it, we mean where I live. Sometimes the owner and the team have to see the fans disappointed. And it often works. In the USA it might not work that way, I can't say for sure.

It's the holidays, many family are taking there kids or families to games, have tickets that were presents or from work etc Maybe that changes after the new year. You will almost always have Canadian fans coming down for games too (although usually rooting for other teams or neutrals)

Your talking about a fan base that came up with a ticket reselling scheme to Canadian fans to make money.

According to Kevyn, it’s why he can’t get any good players (well, that and taxes). Which tracks logically because you see other cold weather teams in high-tax regions struggling just as mightily, like the Jets and Wild. And also isn’t at all insulting to players who *have* chosen to sign here long-term like Dahlin and Thompson.

Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada is a literal 20-30 minute drive to the Sabres arena. Niagara Falls, ON, CAN isn't all that much further.

Many people from southern Ontario (a province in Canada) grew up Sabres fans listening to broadcasts, and eventually watching them. Given how easy it is to cross the Canada/US border in the Buffalo area.......it's not an obstacle at all.

That's why both the Canadian and US national anthems get sung before Sabres games -- there is a fairly significant percentage of fans that are Canadian.

No, but he has cut expenses (staff, payroll) because of his ever-shrinking ticket sales. At some point the penny may drop that it's the product on the ice.

As for tonight's game, I wonder how much untouchable Miller's game has fallen off. Ranger fans have lamented their pothole ridden defense.
