Besides, they aren’t going anywhere.Have Kopitar and Doughty been leaders up to this point? How can they be expected to be leaders in the future?

Dealing with the press? Nate Thompson has been the player out there front and center for most of this season.I mean as far as dealing with the press. The young guys shouldn’t have to deal with extra pressure other than rounding out there games. Vilardi is likely ready by next year. He needs to play top six minutes tho. Kupari has played against men for two seasons now. He seems to have taken another step this year. I think he gets a long look at camp.
Maybe they should go somewhere. Hopefully the next CBA gives the Kings some relief.Besides, they aren’t going anywhere.
Shit on them all you want. They still draw top assignments and are world class players. It’s the crap around them that needs to be improved.Maybe they should go somewhere. Hopefully the next CBA gives the Kings some relief.
I want Carlo.Hey guys,
Prefer to read up and check on the teams board before posting on the main.
Jeff Carter. Boston needs a 2nd line RW/C and the window to win is around Bergeron, Krejci and Marchand.
Boston has played most of the year with 5 of the top 6 D out so 5+ of the Bruins D prospects have been getting regular play and impressing. The glut of our top prospects are D and I see a fit for a rebuilding LA team.
Is something around a D prospect and a forward prospect enough to get Carter to Boston? Is there a scenario where those prospects are enough to entice a 1.2 million retention on his salary?
Thanks in advance for the responses and insight.
Depends on your definition of rebuild. This team isnt rebuilding, its clear the ownership agrees with Blake on retool.
I want Carlo.
Nah there clearly define on here what they mean. You can play with words, but everyone on HFBOARDS knows what the two words mean.Blake and Luc arent rebuilding. At this stage,if folks think Blake is rebuilding you'll very disappointed and long lines at the nearest college crying booths will form quickly.Depends on your definition of rebuild.
People just want change. Even the black hole teams were more exciting to watch. This year is the first in longer than I can remember where i find myself caring less and less about them playing or not.[/QUOTE]
How long have you been a Kings fan?![]()
The lineup I proposed is a rebuild in my mind. That is a major exodus. Are you saying it’s only a rebuild if Kopi/Doughty/Brown/Quick are moved?Nah there clearly define on here what they mean. You can play with words, but everyone on HFBOARDS knows what the two words mean.Blake and Luc arent rebuilding. At this stage,if folks think Blake is rebuilding you'll very disappointed and long lines at the nearest college crying booths will form quickly.

Mayor and Bernstein have repeatedly said it.Not that you won’t ultimately be right, but what evidence to this moment would lead you to believe this is fact?
I do agree that a player in Drew’s position could or would ask for a trade. He signed with the Kings for two reasons. First, you can sign a year early before the new contract even begins. Second, you get 8 years not 7. A player would be stupid not to sign early like this. You never know when or if a career ending injury might happen, and you are left with nothing. So, with that said, Drew signing again with the Kings was more about this rather than the notion he didn’t want to play anywhere else. Contract in hand now, he’ll play anywhere. You better add Doughty to that list...no way he doesn't ask for a trade if this team goes into rebuild mode. For the record, I'm all for blowing this thing up and starting over.

I will **** on them. They aren't winning against these top assignments.**** on them all you want. They still draw top assignments and are world class players. It’s the crap around them that needs to be improved.
I would take my "FIRE BLAKE" sign to a game, and try to get a chant going. The signal that the Kings are going to go into full rebuild mode will be the firing of Blake. Short of that, the team will look for opportunities to retool with the existing core. Any thought to the contrary will only lead to you losing your mind...
Not just anywhere, but with the NMC GMs hand out like candy, he can pick his team.I do agree that a player in Drew’s position could or would ask for a trade. He signed with the Kings for two reasons. DD should be on top of Blake's trade list.
