Just to be clear, is there a lengthy process that has to be completed before we get new jerseys? I thought I read somewhere that there is a big approval period something like 3 years long.

still far and away the best concept posted so far. Just keep the blueberries as the 3rd and make the white jerseys the home set.

Very interested to see what they come up with next year for the outdoor game. My money is still on them incorporating the state flag somewhere. Unless of course the league goes with a "theme" like they did last year and this. Last year wasn't bad...still dig the isles. But the 2-tone monstrosities for this season are terrible.

omg, hell yes to these!!!!!!!!!!

Are we really going to have no third until March? And what if the league makes it some chrome sparkle monstrosity? That's why I think a classic one for the season then they can either keep it or switch to the stadium series one the following year.
Maybe we see them bring back the old uni's as our 3rds for next year for the 20th Anniversary. Then switch to the Stadium Series jerseys in 2016-17.

As I said above I bet they incorporate "Rockie Hockey" or State Flag into the Stadium Series uniforms somehow. Even if it is league designed and not team designed.

I dunno but even if there was, who knows how long the Avs have been working on a change.

Usually, yes. At least if you do a good job.

With that being said, maybe the team has already been working on something? Doubtful, but you never know.

IMO, the blueberries are our best jerseys right now. It's the home/away jerseys that are the problem with that awful piping.

Please don't get rid of the "Colorado" text. Looks so much better than our logo, and is a much more comfortable jersey.

I always thought our original burgundy 3rd were the best out of any of the Avs jerseys, personally.

I'm not really a fan of the blueberries though.

I don't know why so many people don't like our logo, I love it. I think it's awesome...always have.

I've always loved our logo as well. But I especially love the way the logo looks on the shoulder of the burgundy alternate.

Love our logo. Love our old jerseys. Love the old burgundy 3rd. Fine with the blueberries.

I am hoping they go for a more classic look with the stadium jerseys.

In that sentence they of course stands for the league. And the league would go for a more classic look if they were wise. Enough with the horrific printed carbon-fiber logo experiments. I'd actually be pleased with a fauxback look for both teams in this case.

Any across text logos which does not spell out Rangers is the most uncreative thing in existence of life.

The Burgundy jersey is much better than the Blueberry, but both are completely dull when it comes to artistic imagination. I agree with Bohl that the new third jersey will be the the Stadium Series jersey and I think we will see something dumb like the Sharks, Ducks, and Kings jerseys with the same logo in front and just a different jersey design. I would love to see a Classic, maybe cream design, but I highly doubt it since Avs are not getting the Winter Classic.

LOL at the dude hating the logo, Avs logo is one of the best and most unique designs in all of sports. I think I can say that with some confidence. :)

I was an adamant blueberry hater for most of their existence. I've recently come around to them and I actually got gifted a MacKinnon one at christmas this year.

Now they are getting replaced.... typical.

I am holding out hope that Illitch wouldn't stand for a pug fugly chrome jersey with triangle stripes.

Maybe there is hope. Lamoriello asked Bettman if he'd like to sleep with the fishes and boom, New Jersey plays the Stadium Series with the Christmas jersey. Maybe Ilitch is the same way.

Yeah but whenver there's a debate on logos, the Avs almost always end up near the bottom of the league for some unknown reason. Maybe it's something as dumb as payback for the Avs being so good for their first 10 years in Denver and people just overall POed because of it.

Never really understand how people love chicago (it's alright but nothing special if you ask me) or even worse the HABS...to me, that's an ugly-ass logo.

The Sharks is one of the best, if not THE best in the entire league if you ask me.

IMO it's the 90s thing, to many people it feels dated but to us it's history. There's nothing we can do about it, it would be even worse to try and be an original 6 or classic team when we aren't. So I don't think that when logos or uniforms are ranked and judged that it's completely off of the literal aesthetic appeal and not taking the "brand" into account. Many people hate the Sharks teal for the same thing, it was part of the 90s movement. The ONLY thing I'd do is take the oval out of our logo, that's what makes it 90s and I don't think anyone would miss it, it would feel fresher and crisper without taking anything away. I seriously have no clue why they refuse to refresh the jerseys, it's a pure money grab when teams do that and here the fanbase is begging for the org and the NHL to take their money and they won't do it.

If you're going strictly by the look of a logo, the Montreal logo definitely isn't in the top half, along with a few other older franchises logo. But when you add in history and such, it's pretty obvious why the Habs universally have one of the best logos in hockey.

At least the catalogue that Icethetics bases the JerseyWatch on had Arizona getting new unis. Arizona has had some dull branding. No idea how their logo pretty much topped that ranking on ESPN or something.

Yeah those are not good articles because people normally have too much sympathy on the original six logos. Canadiens C and H might have more meaning than Avs A, but no way is it close of being a more creative logo than Avs. Likewise for Detroit, Toronto, Boston, and Philadelphia. I used to go on Icethetics quite a bit and almost every year they have poll rankings for logos...and Avs normally always get to the semi-finals where we seem to be matched up with either Blackhawks or Wild every year and lose it there. IMO Avs quite clearly have a top 10 logo in the NHL, better than any logo in the NBA (this league has quite easily the worst logos and sports nicknames...seriously, Jazz? Utah Jazz? WTF? Lakers when Los Angeles is on the coast of an ocean? WTF.), would be top 5 in the MLB, and top 15 in the NFL.

But the best logo I've seen, isn't in the NHL or anywhere else, its this...

**** you politically correct society. IMO this destroys the Chicago Blackhawks logo.

I loved the old third jerseys and because of the simplicity of the design, it would be hard to screw up even for Reebok.
