I paid attention to Flyers' past few drafts and yes they do have some decent prospects. Talking to my cousin who is a Flyers nut we at least could agree on that. But the team pieces they have seem so hit and miss in execution and effort, to me at least.

Flyers have alternated missing the playoffs and then making it and losing in the first round the last 7 seasons. That must suck as a fan, you either don't get in at all or you're one and done and golfing in April either way. And it sounds like Fletcher has money to spend this summer to go after free agents and improve the team sooner rather than later.

The Nolan Patrick pick was a rough one for them (kind of set them back), and they don’t seem to have any young, franchise-type players to build around, besides Hart and maybe Provorov. Their prospect pool is pretty deep like ours, though.
