We aren't going to win out. And the Oilers and Ducks have been playing better than us lately. We aren't going to beat CBJ and Pitt to finish the year.
 
I have a feeling people are mistaking 'how hard the Rangers work under Quinn' with how lackadaisical every other team plays.

Not every team plays like us. It's not that they're playing us ( trap game ), this is how they play.

You're used to watching the Rangers grind away and assuming every team is like that.

Have you been watching Montreal this year? Carey has for sure had a bounce back year putting the team on his back some nights.
 
Hart is still a highly skilled goalie with a good future IMO. That little segment was not really that long in duration. They at least did tip their hat to Georgiev too.
For the Flyers, it is a gigantic planet-smashing event for them to get a decent goaltending prospect and still have him, lol.

But I thought the goal was to try to get that 3/4 slot? Time is running short albeit the Ducks are playing well. remember tho they only have 2 games left. Ducks probably get 2 more points bringing them to 78 points.

3rd or 4th was a pipe dream. 5/6 was reasonable. The devils sabres and wings suck too much.

I mean, it's better than them playing with absolutely no heart and totally giving up like the Sabres have. Their performance last night was completely embarrassing, and I would be embarrassed too if my team was skating at an ECHL level like that. They're this bad and they already have their franchise C and D.


That shit is contagious, bruh. And once you let it infect your organization it is damn near impossible to stop.

What about NJ and Ottawa? If we win today and win those 2 games, that's 6 points. Anaheim has 2 games left and they are 3 points ahead of us. They would need to get at least 3 points in those 2 games. It's very possible that we pass them.
 
I have mixed feelings about this Buchnevich bromance that 20 and 93 are showing him.

On one hand, objectively, Buchnevich is (finally) playing some good hockey. On the other hand, I don't think he's a guy you win with - and I don't trust him for shit.

Strome is young also, I believe he is having his best season since his 2nd season with the Islanders? We need guys like this, depth is so critical to the road to a successful team of course. Howden playing well again also makes me happy.
 
Can somebody create a GIF of Lias making a soft backhanded pass instead of shooting?

I think it would be a good idea for a bunch of fans to mass tweet that play and his goal-stat in the NHL this season.
