Gritty and the meme he’s become is cringey af and I don’t understand why he’s any more fascinating of a mascot than Dallas’s green thing, and so on.
Storm Surge I like though
I can’t stand it, either. And it makes me cringe as well, but he’s popular probably because of the creepy look and the crazy shit he does.

He joined the organization in 2004, Hank's first season was the following season.

So who are these other 20 goalies that it never worked for?

Zaba, Valiquette, Johnson, Weeks, Holt, Auld, Lafleur, Halverson, Skapski, Stajcer, Missiaen, Montoya, Hellberg, LeNeveu, LaBarbera.

Just saying that maybe the successful goalies were successful because of their talent, and not so much because of Allaire

Aside from Lundqvist and to a lesser extent Talbot and Raanta, there has not been a goalie who really turned into something under Allaire.

We have Georgiev playing great now, but can he keep it up or is it just a hot streak?

Other than Vally every other goalie we had but those guys were established backups that weren't going to become superstars. Vally was just very limited and even then we probably got more from him than anyone could expect. Who did you want to turn into something? Weekes and Biron? Also, Biron was a very solid backup for us, albeit under some good defensive teams.

Are the specific examples of goalie failures that we've gotten a good look at that you're referencing? Looking back, Mike Dunham, Marty Biron, Ondrej Pavelec are all goalies who improved their season-over-season numbers after joining the rangers. Talbot and Raanta both turned into starters... Everyone else never got enough ice time to get written off as success or failure really (in my opinion)

I'm not sure why you're on an anti-Allaire crusade. Do you expect him to work miracles and make goalies with no talent studs? A bunch of those guys you mentioned, didn't even play a game in the NHL. How much practice could they have gotten with Allaire?

I just think Lundqvist would be who he is today even if Allaire wasn't part of our organization. He always gets credited for it, but did it really make much difference?

He probably would have been a stud because he's a great talent. Would he have been a first ballot HOFer? I think it's very reasonable to question that.
