Lol, that was an incredibly bad play by Namestnikov. He could’ve skated to Russia and back and still have enough time to score.

I still think Namestnikov has only gotten better and better playing for us though. In fact, I think he has been incredible lately.

Hank definitely isn't stealing nearly as many games as he used to.

Makes you begin to wonder if he's truly in the steep decline.

I might not always agree with Quinn but clearly there was a message before this game that we're playing the Washington f***ing Capitals.

I won't forget that.
 
It's just hard to get mad about Namestnikov, Vesey, Strome and Fast (who I think is having a down year) when we have an AHL team with, like, no forwards
 
I'm sorry but hank isn't stealing games anymore...cant blame him, I love him but there is zero reason to be playing him now...all that's happening is that his value is going down. I know he loves BY and we love him, but he and us need to let go for the good of him and us.
 
I missed the entire third period/OT session...This may be the first time this year where the tying goal to knot it up 5-5 actually ticks me off.

Yea but Jamie Benn got hurt. That will bascially give them no chance of meeting the first condition if its longterm

I like that the team doesn't give up. It fought hard today. And there were bright spots. That's the best game I've seen from Andersson in a while. I like Strome, Vesey and DeAngelo. Buchnevich in the middle of the action. He's starting to look good again. He needs to lead and he needs to shoot more and I think we've been seeing some of that in the last week or two. Skjei was good too.

There were a lot of mental mistakes though.

These Stars PBP and color guys are bush league in homerism compared to Sam and Joe. A primary assist leading to a breakaway goal in his first period of his first game as a star and they don't mention a peep. Sam would've said "How about that?!" 12 times by now.

Peppes Pizza and OT I miss the last 12 min. 1 pts we dont need it, but they show resilence all good.
