I think DeAngelo's upside as a point getter will be limited by his shot. Total muffin shot. He can walk the line and find a lane but his shot isn't strong enough to create havoc and rebounds in front like most other top OFD.

Possibly, but at least it’s accurate. His wrist shot isn’t really weak (it’s like average strength), but his slap shot is kind of pathetic.

We moved Mac at the right time, the Shattenkirk signing doesnt look good unless we can deal him off this year or next.

Exactly. With Shattenkirk, I didn’t want him signed because he would block DeAngelo and Pionk, but I didn’t think he would be this bad.

I'm not arguing that... It just we give Girardi, Staal, Boyle and Shattenkirk contracts... let Stralman, Yandle walk and get tight with Mac. I find it funny

All I said was that I don’t think he has a lot of upside. That’s it. I said he was not a good skater, but I didn’t say he couldn’t improve. Just that I doubt he’ll improve that much in that aspect.
