I can’t argue this. As much as I hated the Kings when I had originally moved to LA, I grew to like them much more when the only remnants of those teams were Kopitar and Doughty. Having the Brown’s, Quick’s, etc. move on really took my hatred away.

I hate the Sharks franchise because of when they beat the Blues President’s trophy team. Dumbo Thornton just made it easy to hate them.

Gotta tip a cap to the Flames. They've been working their asses off for the last month. They weren't getting the same results as the Blues, but they're grinding these games out.

I hope somehow the Sharks can figure something out at intermission because they've been getting caved in for the last 10 minutes.

Does an OT win for Calgary mean much for us?

If they dont win in regulation, then any win for us and we are in. Otherwise if all 3 of their wins were regulation, we would have had to win in regulation to keep tiebreaker.

If calgary loses in overtime, then all we need is 1 point to secure our spot.

Joked with my dad a couple weeks ago that somehow our season was going to come down to our last game against Utah, who has typically owned us. Things sure do have a funny way of playing out.

Welp, Utah ends this season with 4 games in 6 days, including back-to-back with Nashville and then us. Hopefully they are worn out and looking for the season to end. Seems like they are all healthy, although, they've been riding the same goalie since February. Got to find a way.
