Yes, lets be logicalI hope they lose out to get desnoyers. I was a believer before parayko went down. Now they gotta lose a bunch.

I think it is very unlikely we make the playoffs without Parayko. I expect the defense to struggle. Hopefully we can quickly switch into prioritizing our younger players and get into a good draft position.
Hot take….
We lose tonight in Anaheim and tomorrow in LA
It was unlikely even with him. They won't make it unless their top players raise their game, something they won't do.I think it is very unlikely we make the playoffs without Parayko. Mike were you a former politician?I think we were in the drivers seat
Mike were you a former politician?
No one flip-flops quite like you, and it cracks me up.

Pick 15, Instead of 16?The problem is, I either want a top 7 pick or the playoffs…nothing in between. The team prior to the break looked like a top 7 pick. The team after the break looked like a playoff team. Then Parayko is lost. What are we supposed to root for?
Pick 15, Instead of 16?![]()
Ive come to terms were not getting a top 10 pick, schedule is just too easy. But possibly 13 or 14 is that sweet spot. I think we can get this team playing meaningful hockey down the stretch which a lot of guys on here want. But we dont necessarily need to make the playoffs this season, as the chase will be enough. My preference is finishing as low as possible as long as were in the race till the final week or two of the season. I think 13 or 14 is realistic for this goal, considering the entirety of the situation.Sad but true

Sunny recently had the first three point game of his career. The coach said Sunny has the best hockey sense of anyone on the team in the defensive zone. And he is holding his own in the face off circle.I'm wondering if Dvorsky wouldn't already be the upgrade over Sunny. And
Sure, ridicule people for rooting for their favorite team to WIN games. I want better draft picks too, but you can just as easily root for getting the better player at a later pick (like Parayko) and still enjoy the team playing their best hockey of the year now. The cognitive dissonance of being disappointed by them fighting through adversity is not my thing. How can you say that?!?!?! They are building LOVE in the locker room. Love conquers all. It conquers the lack of elite talent. it conquers the injuries to our best players. It makes wingers Centers and LHD into RHD. It will take this team to the promise land...assuming that promise land is the 15th OA pick, cause that's where it will take us.
It could be seen as flip-flopping, but I see it as being able to hold opposing ideas simultaneously.Mike were you a former politician?

Agreed. I would also like to quash the idea that you can't find decent talent outside of the top 10. Look at Boston...Sure, ridicule people for rooting for their favorite team to WIN games.
