If Watt and Pickett stay healthy, I feel like the Steelers are definitely winning 10 or more games this year.

I honestly kind of hate watching the Steelers right now as you just now the 1st team offence can't be that good and are waiting for the other shoe to drop. Like, 5% hate.

I think the thing that is making me feel really encouraged with this offense (beyond the results) is how accurate Pickett seems to be on deep passes. I think those deep throws were something that were completely lacking this year, but Pickett has been hitting them consistently all pre-season.Playing against backup CBs will make the offense look better of course, but Pickett looks legitimately great and this team's offense is going to be great if Pickett is great.

Something I will give Canada credit for is that with a good mobile QB and an OLine that is at least decent, I think his playcalling will be really good.

Empo, I could be a good playcaller the way they're executing right now.

And Pickett looks fantastic. The way he is going through his progressions. The way he's making those deep throws. The speed with which he's realising he needs to move now. The chemistry with everyone... and all the main weapons are looking great too.

Throw in the toughness and coolness Pickett showed last year, and I'm feeling bullish. I want to wait a few real games before committing to that but, you know, yup. He looks legitimately great.

Don't agree with 1. I think Robinson and Austin have been okay for their limited snaps and more importantly, Muth is our third target, Connor Heyward might just be our fourth (unless those WRs are balling out), all of the RBs can run a few routes... think the weapons room is deep.

Do agree with 2. Trice get injured is annoying.

Robinson is a perfect wr 3 he will do everything they wanted Claypool to do. He isn’t going to have a fantasy season.

If they top 4 are out we will flx pat heyward out warren and Najee will line up at wr

The cbs are going to be ball hawks who give up yards and the dl and olb will cover for them

I wasn’t thinking as much about the inside pass catchers, just the outside ones…big drop off imo if one of DJ or Pickens gets injured and someone else has to move outside…don’t think Robinson has the quickness and Austin doesn’t seem like he gets open, like at all lol

Got pretty open on that deep ball from Rudolph in game 1!

I dunno. Fair point all those guys do their best work in the centre of the field (save Austin who is pretty raw). But there's still weapons, and as long as whoever is outside is running a good enough route and catches what's thrown that the other team can't just ignore them, I think they'd be okay. It's not like they can just double team everyone else as a consequence.

Our holes are pinholes, when healthy. Tomlin has these guys focused and running well oiled. Herbig is a very legit #3. He is going to make TJ or Highsmith expendable in 2 years. Kenny looks to have more arm strength and plays with this cool and calm demeanor.

I cannot wait for this season to start. I cannot wait for these guys to prove whether they belong or not.
