What do you think they're going to change? It's a stubborn franchise from the top down. They'll learn nothing from this.I love this.
This is the embarrassment this franchise needs.
If the Steelers were any sort of modern organization, they'd realize that their entire offense needs to be rebuilt and just swapping out one QB for another one isn't going to accomplish anything.
The Chiefs drafted Mahomes when they already had a great team, but they needed a top end QB to take them to the next level. How can you watch this team right now and conclude that they just need a new QB? This isn't even a defense of Pickett being the guy, he's probably not at this point, but this team is absolutely not in a position to be just drafting a new QB right now. They need to completely rip out the foundations and redo the entire offense, drafting a new QB without changing anything is just going to put the next QB in a position to fail as well.
It is far more important that Tomlin never have a losing season than ever winning another playoff game. We’ll see. I could definitely see it.
IMO it’s legit for the best that the wheels come off this team for once. I actually think 9-8 is the worst possible outcome.
Canada must have more on Tomlin than simply having done a solid for Tomlin's son.
Come now, this is a strawman and you know it. I'd love for you to quote anyone, especially on this forum, who has a positive opinion about any aspect of this team outside maybe Watt.
The opinion isn't this team is a better QB away from competing (barring literally Mahomes falling into their lap), it's Kenny isn't likely to be good enough to win a Super Bowl even if they did have a complete team around him, which they obviously don't and won't for multiple drafts to come. If they have the opportunity someday to draft someone with legit pedigree, they should do what's necessary to do it, and not pass on the option because they're still waiting on Pickett to improve. If that opportunity doesn't come anytime soon, so be it, they wouldn't have won anything by then anyway.
Which is sad and hilarious because I believe the plan is the exact opposite?Defense is gassed like always for the last 3 years. They kept it well within reason for 3 quarters, especially if the offense had done anything whatsoever.
It goes hand in hand.
Good thing the Steelers are so proficient at drafting talent at WR.
Give that fish a bike.
UMMMMMM You are not spelling Oswald Bates & Matt Canada rightPretty sure Kenny is rated in like the bottom 3…which is basically saying anyone could replace him and do the same job.
Cancelled sunday ticket. Cant spend 500$ on watching this each week
