I'm at the point I don't know how good Pickett is. I don't know how good Harris is. I don't know how bad the O-line is. But I KNOW Canada ain't it. Get somebody else in here. A legit OC, not a sacrificial lamb. If they still continue to struggle, then we can talk about who we are going to replace them with. It's too hard to analyze anything with this Mickey Mouse offense, though.

If the Steelers were any sort of modern organization, they'd realize that their entire offense needs to be rebuilt and just swapping out one QB for another one isn't going to accomplish anything.

The Chiefs drafted Mahomes when they already had a great team, but they needed a top end QB to take them to the next level. How can you watch this team right now and conclude that they just need a new QB? This isn't even a defense of Pickett being the guy, he's probably not at this point, but this team is absolutely not in a position to be just drafting a new QB right now. They need to completely rip out the foundations and redo the entire offense, drafting a new QB without changing anything is just going to put the next QB in a position to fail as well.

Come now, this is a strawman and you know it. I'd love for you to quote anyone, especially on this forum, who has a positive opinion about any aspect of this team outside maybe Watt.

The opinion isn't this team is a better QB away from competing (barring literally Mahomes falling into their lap), it's Kenny isn't likely to be good enough to win a Super Bowl even if they did have a complete team around him, which they obviously don't and won't for multiple drafts to come. If they have the opportunity someday to draft someone with legit pedigree, they should do what's necessary to do it, and not pass on the option because they're still waiting on Pickett to improve. If that opportunity doesn't come anytime soon, so be it, they wouldn't have won anything by then anyway.

Stroud's been damn impressive this game, what a throw.

And now the blowout comenses, the post-game should be entertaining at least.

We’ll see. I could definitely see it.

IMO it’s legit for the best that the wheels come off this team for once. I actually think 9-8 is the worst possible outcome.
It is far more important that Tomlin never have a losing season than ever winning another playoff game.

Which of the two gets Rooney the most Rizz with his billionaire buddies?

You literally ignored the part for why I mentioned that comment in the first place.

Read the rest of the paragraph. I'm saying that because this team is downright broken offensively and it needs a hell of a lot more than "just draft a new QB". Let Pickett play out his rookie deal while you fix the rest of the issues in the offense and then go out and get a new QB.

This team screwed up massively between drafting Harris and Pickett while changing nothing else with the offense. The offense needs to be torn out from the foundation and be completely redone. Moving on from Pickett at this point and replacing him with another high draft pick is just going to be putting that new high draft pick in a position to fail, just like they did with Pickett. They will need to replace Pickett to be good again but they need to do a hell of a lot more before they make a change at QB.

The sad part with this team is that the defense when playing well is just too good for this team to truly bottom out and make the changes it needs to make. The team will find a way to win games because their defense will get like 4 sacks and 2 takeaways, and they'll end up with like 6 or 7 of those in a season. Then add on a few random games where the offense doesn't suck and that ends up having them around .500.

The Steelers defense is boom/bust because it's completely dependent on how well their pass rush is working, because the team's defense sucks beyond that. They'll have enough boom games where it prevents them from bottoming out like they truly need to do.
