If the Steelers were any kind of modern organization, even a slightly better than average Pickett would be moved on from.

How many years in a row do the Chiefs have to make the AFC championship before people realize you're not beating the Chiefs, Bills, etc. in the playoffs at their stadiums with anything other than a top 10 QB, if not likely better.

Unless you have the most complete team around them possible like the Eagles or 49ers you need better than a Pickett. And clearly this team isn't anywhere near that complete.

Yeah, people forget the Chiefs moved up to draft Mahomes at a time when Alex Smith was really good.

His stat line this year is pretty much identical to what Garoppolo is doing, who is another example of a low end starter.

It's comical to act like Harris is this great RB while Pickett is this awful QB. Neither are good players, both are bottom tier starters at their positions.

If the Steelers were any sort of modern organization, they'd realize that their entire offense needs to be rebuilt and just swapping out one QB for another one isn't going to accomplish anything.

The Chiefs drafted Mahomes when they already had a great team, but they needed a top end QB to take them to the next level. How can you watch this team right now and conclude that they just need a new QB? This isn't even a defense of Pickett being the guy, he's probably not at this point, but this team is absolutely not in a position to be just drafting a new QB right now. They need to completely rip out the foundations and redo the entire offense, drafting a new QB without changing anything is just going to put the next QB in a position to fail as well.

I have my qualms about Sullivan, his staff and the last six plus years of wet farts but they can't hold a candle to Tomlin and co.

Kinda oddly similar in a lot of ways, though. Unfortunately for Steelers fans... coaching in football far more impactful.

Based on pro football reference's rating, he's 25th. He's just below Lawrence and Garoppolo and just above Stafford and Richardson.
