Well, he was a first-round caliber corner. I don't think anybody had him going in the second round. So relative to that I like the pick. I'm not over the moon about it but I am happy about it. I wanted he or branch.

He's just so stiff, especially his hips on breaks. More creative OC's and WR's will exploit that at the worst time.

Will likely be a solid starter though. Just love Branch's ceiling more.

Oof I wouldn't have liked that for the Steelers at all. If that's the kind of offers they were getting, I like staying and taking Porter even more.

Yeah this is what I would do. CB and LT were the only massive holes on the team right now and they addressed both of those already.

Trade down from 49 for like 2 3rds or something like that.

This is all I’ve been saying. It literally has nothing to do with PSU or his dad. Sure it’s a nice perk, but the guy has been considered a first round talent since last season. It’s not a reach like edmunds was.

If he flames out, it’s not because we reached.

I'm not looking at sentiment , I'm looking at the guy's Talent. It seems like you're holding his father's Legacy in Pittsburgh against them. That's as unfair as saying we should take him because he's Porter's son. I look at his skill set and the fact that we're addressing an area of need and I'm happy with it.
