Any chance Dotson or Dotson and next year's 5th or 6th could get us a 4th?We could always trade back from our next 2nd round pick to get some later round help.

This just isn’t true.
He runs a 4.5, and holds a lot. If his name was Jerry Paulson with those stats, we're not having a discussion.
Yes every national talent evaluator really has a hard on for Joey Porter Sr.
Get real
Yeah that post was disingenuous. You can complain about nepotism, but to pretend like he wasn’t one of the top 5 BPA on basically everyone’s draft board is fiction. And at a position of major need.Bullshit
You dont have to like his game but that is total nonsense
Don't forget Canada.Possible best draft since 2002 coming up?
Just for Tomlin to lose a playoff game with bad clock management or a trick play for fun?
Completely irrelevant tk the conversation. And the Steelers have done oh so well at evaluating CBs over the years ...

It’s ok to prefer we took someone else, but it’s absolutely not a reach.
Nostalgia picks suck...
Welp, would have had a shot at Branch.Somebody here called it earlier. The Steelers don't have that much leverage to trade the pick because they can trade with Arizona (or even Detroit) to take Levis.
I would have been pissed to make that trade and then lose out on JPJ or Branch.
What about Campbell?I liked BJ the LB the Cardinals selected…someone who was on the Steelers radar for pick 49…too bad
That’s because you’re talking about Big 10 receivers. Not exactly play makers. He’s a shutdown corner, not a ball hawk type. Two completely different styles. Diggs had a ton of picks a couple of years ago, but was atrocious in actual coverage. So if you only care about interceptions, you’re not looking at the whole picture. Porter didn’t allow a TD and only allowed 15 completions all season.
He could wind up sucking, sure, but he’s not a bad option at 32.
if not branch, ringo might beWelp, would have had a shot at Branch.
Now my hopes are up he falls to 49.
I know they need an edge, but to lock down the secondary would be incredible.
