Did Kenny Pickett’s perfect QB rating in the preseason make you feel all warm and fuzzy?
What the f*** does any of this have to do with Kenny Pickett? I didn't mention him, I don't give two f***s about him. Don't push your KP bullshit on to my comments mate.

Nobody shows anything during preseason you do realize that if that was regular season they would’ve called 30 rpo and qb runs with jf. Last night was watching jf play in the pocket and the rookies on o line get real reps.
They will be scrimmaging all week long with the bills you will see stuff they want to run then but nothing on film
You see the part where I say "Or..."

Lean into that.

I’m simply just pointing out how the preseason doesn’t mean anything, it’s meant to evaluate players and ramp up for the regular season. Sometimes preseason success is a mirage.

Odds on Moore at LT and Jones at RT if Fautanu isn't able to go for the rest of pre-season?

Just re switching sides as a tackle, took this from an Athletic article on Tua being a leftie

"Austin Jackson played left tackle after being drafted with Miami’s second first-round pick in 2020 but moved to the right side when McDaniel took over as head coach. “Your mechanics literally change (to) opposite legs,” Jackson said. “My left leg had to become my push leg, my right leg had to become my ‘catch/anchor’ leg that kind of keeps my balance.”

As he made the change, Jackson’s right leg was significantly stronger than his left. His left hip was strong but way tighter. The Dolphins’ strength-and-conditioning staff installed special programming to rebuild both hips and legs for his new role."

Dunno that it's that much of a physical difference for every OL, but good example of just how hyperspecialised they get

And it shows you didn't f***ing read my post after the first paragraph and can f*** off with your shit mate. Because the second paragraph says the same shit you're trying to say.

I think about as close to a 100% chance as you could get. It absolutely sucks that Moore is apparently incapable of playing RT.

You are way too f***ing sensitive mate

Your second paragraph said to give him a “few more preseason games before moving on quickly”. You’re talking about firing the coach already dude.

Moore being position flexible and sucking up all the position moving would make me so much happier

I think it’s happening even if he is able to play the rest of the preseason.

I thought Fautanu was gaining ground fast in that race and might have done it. Tbh, I was beginning to wonder whether Broderick Jones mightn't have been the guy left out.

Nothing against the guy because he seems like a great teammate and has taken having his replacements being picked in stride but damn is it frustrating to be pissing around with Jones’ development because of his inability to play RT.

I like how much they hyped up Arthur Smith and then couldn't figure out if that was the style of offense they really wanted or if they just hired someone that was pretty decent at it years ago and likely isn't a good fit from the get go.

Or it's still very early and who knows, maybe the 2nd game we will see more from him but to see the same old garbage as last season and years before all of a sudden show up in the first pre-season game, probably not exuding a f***ton of confidence in anyone right now but the bloke should be given at least a few more pre-season games before they can move on pretty quickly and find someone else asap and not squander as much as they did last season.

Tomlin has no plan or preference to anything offensively defensively. BUT I HEARD HES A MASTER MOTAVATOR.. I mean it's only been 18 years or so to figure something out right?

The Texans had 4 straight years of top 10 picks and lucked into Stroud. We haven’t picked 11th since pre ben

did you miss the 2019 draft?

where they traded up to #10 to select a sub 6 foot tall inside LB to get another peice for mikey's defense

Yeah I always love the Herbert argument. Somehow Steelers fans say it was a mistake to send a first for a guy who somehow was solely responsible for an additional 4 wins in one season.

don't know about 4 additional wins. but he did pick off goff on LA's last drive, the steelers won by 2. all LA needed was to get in FG position for the possable GW winning FG.
and iirc there was another int/possible pick 6 he had that year that helped us win a game.

that's 2 wins. so 6-10 record.
miami and san diego finished 5-11

tua went 5th overall and herbert 6th.
after burrow went 1st. it fell like this
DE young wash
CB okudah det
OT thomas NYG

the lions (with stafford) and the giants (just drafted jones #6 the year prior) were not looking for QBs and were prime candidates to trade down
what's so far fetched about that scenario ?

but, besides that point. the trade was made when the team started off 0-2. losing by 30 points to the patriots who were a strong contender to come out of the AFC along with KC.

that was a 30 point loss with your franchise QB playing the game. possibly the last game they would ever see him again with close to 100% healthy arm.
what in dafuq were they thinking giving up a 2020 1st rounder to acquire minkah would do?
make up that 30 point difference if they were to face them in the playoffs??

as tomlin has stated when comparing the patriots with the steelers.
"they're intellectual, we're emotional"
yes mikey, some fans can clearly see that
