I didn't move the goalposts. I'm saying that commenting on an athlete's mental state/diagosing them is in extremely poor taste. If you are a psychiatrist, then maybe I'll give you some grace there. But as my wife says (she's a therapist) "unless you're in this field, it's a slap in the face to all the professionals when all the laypeople hear these mental health terms that have gone mainstream in the past 5-7 years. Everyone is 'toxic' or is 'on the spectrum'. No one has any idea the time and effort and process it takes to reach an official diagnosis. So everyone who isn't qualified should sit the f*** down"
So yea I'm pretty sensitive about this kind of thing. It's akin to me saying you're a stalker bc you keep quoting my posts. Is that entirely fair?
If I squint I can kinda see your Pyrrhic victory comment, but I'm confused. I'm not fighting any battle. Merely pointing out that according to some a person can NEVER change and they'll forever be judged on their worst moments. Not sure that's fair either.
