OT: The Pittsburgher Thread: Ploff wins?!? Fire Tomlin

It is disheartening when the Steelers are losing and you realize that even if they by some miracle orchestrate a td drive it will be 16 plays and 10 minutes because they think it is 1975.

Name any other business that hasn't changed the way it has operated in over 50 years and is still successful.

Coca Cola and Pittsburgh Steeler football are the only things we can keep pure in this twisted world!

Higgins out of the game with an injury and they still leave Trice one-on-one on Chase. What amateur hour this coaching staff is.
Austin will be the scapegoat this year

Everything about the offensive play calling is maddening. It feels worse than Canada, honestly
The fact that he’s getting HC interviews blows my mind. Hopefully he gets one of those jobs.

if he can get good assistant coaches he'll be better than what we got

This is a great Bengals offense. To only have allowed 19 points is acceptable. The issue is the offense, as it has been for several years under several different OCs.

Defense honestly hasn't been terrible tonight outside of that first drive. Burrow and Chase are going to get theirs, so holding them to FG's isn't the worst outcome in the world. Just a pathetic offensive performance

The offense isn't constructed to run Arthur Smith's schemes. The O-line is bad, and the running backs and receiving corps are mediocre at best, so don't adjust your offense to the personnel, just keep jamming that round peg in the square hole

They seem to believe they will be a dominant power running team through sheer will.

It's not rocket science.

If you run 95 percent of the time on first and second down (I include passes behind the line of scrimmage as runs) and only pass on third and long or if way behind, then teams will stack the box and your offense will suck.

It is amazing to me that one of Tomlin's favorite sayings is not to live on your fears.

This play calling is the ultimate living in your fears.

Oh wow they are passing and the offense has started to actually move. Maybe they should have considered opening it up before being down 12 with 9 minutes to go.

Funny how it's now happened under multiple QBs and coordinators.

At least they haven't had to replace the sod in the middle of the field this year, cause they're never near it offensively
