Who do you guys have set to win the superbowl this year?

And who do you think wins the afc north?

That's how I feel about sports as well the older I get. Never really was at the point in the NFL that I followed and could name entire teams though, but actually 'watched' the games.... NHL I used to be able to name every player on every team - mostly because of playing NHL 2k games so damn much...

NHL at least I can get a game watched in around 150 minutes-ish. NFL I just can't sit down for 3 to 4 hours straight staring at 2-3 hours of commercials for a 60 minute game that has 10 minutes on average worth of action.
Now I mostly watch by dvr or streaming some way afterwards... watch an entire game worth of the action points in 30 minutes....

That reminds me I thought the league said they were looking to speed the game up in the years to come, this was a few years ago. Doesn't seem to me like the average game time went any lower... and I don't see how the NFL would just get rid of that advertising money.

I collected cards as a kid so I knew every teams roster.

I was a pretty massive fan and watched football all day. Even into my early 20s.

When I first started dating my wife, we would barely leave the bed on Sundays. We would go out for our run, make breakfast, then I’d watch pre-game, the 1, 4, and late game, while my wife would fall asleep and nap on me.

We often joke about how much we miss our lazy Sundays now that we have kids and a million other responsibilities.

Now after the Steeler game, I just catch bits and pieces of other games at the hockey rink, on my TVs at home while I’m doing other shit, etc

I rarely sit down anymore and watch other games beg to end.

We don't joke though... we sigh and sob. Man do I / we miss those........

Tampa and KC rematch

Baltimore at 8-9
Steelers go 8-9 lose tie breaker (same with Cleveland)

Nice =]

Yeah I kinda figure betting against tom is just unwise.
Steelers looking that bad this year?
My neighbor stalks me giving me NFL news and all that... so I heard they lost a few players. Ah who cares anyway. I expect ben to be injured at some point and the crap show to really take center stage.

I could never do fantasy sports myself - I did it once as a teen and drafted a stacked team but I hated all of the players.

Just wasn’t fun rooting for guys I despised and there were other things I wanted to do with my time, like play lots of Socom and wreck fools.
My game back during that era was Counter Strike, the original Half Life mod, during the GameSpy/CAL ranking days… f*** I’m getting old.

My bro played all those games… Unreal Tournament he was a beast.

I just stuck with Socom because I’d lose my high world rank if I wasn’t playing regularly. Literally never played another shooter after Socom until my daughter talked me into Fortnite.

I wonder if I'll be able to watch this one.

*checks coverage maps*

f***ing fanless Chargers, existing solely to be a vaguely mild annoyance to the 31 teams with fans.

Man Socom was an incredible game. I was younger but being able to give orders through a headset was like the coolest thing ever to me at the time.

I’m pretty sure people are still playing it online too.

Steelers win the north with 11-6 record and a playoff game
The NFC is wide open Tampa has no dbs Carolina and Atlanta will give me them a run within their division. San Francisco is deep Rams are good Packers WFT Cowboys
San Francisco vs Steelers super bowl

Best days of my life were in my early 20s… owned my first house, built a backyard rink… my boys and I played 2-2 tournaments and when my team wasn’t on, I’d be inside playing Socom and eating pizza… when my team was up ran outside, threw my skates on and jumped on the ice.

Rinse and repeat the rest of the day. Was so much f***ing fun.

I mean it’s not like I thought the Steelers would be winning this game anyway but that was a good 3 and out….

SMB got hurt but isn't out for the season. They lost no one in FA with the entire team returning.

You think Ben will tell someone he didn’t take less money so the other team got to start all their drives almost in the red zone?
