See ya later you fat greasy useless shit of a leader, Ben Fatf***turdlisberger.

I hope to never see or hear your f***ing name again.

Now if Tomlin takes the USC job, this is the best that's happened to this team in a very long time.

Btw, was last night's game the worst quarterbacking game in recent nfl history?

Ben threw nearly 50 times yet didn't reach 200 yards and Baker somehow managed to be worse!

How did either of these teams win more than 4 games? It is a mystery.

Did he piss in your Cheerios or something? Ben has been bad for a couple of years now, but look at the whole of his career.

Tomlin, however, can **** right off to wherever.

We haven’t had solid qb play for years. Big Ben was great here for such a long time, but it’s time for everyone to move on.

The silver lining is the Steelers got two SBs and a HOF career out of their 39 year old QB.

Browns wasted yet another first overall pick.

I’d like to laugh at the Browns, but Steelers have their own problems.

So how much time did you spend in the Steelers organization?

Here's a Tomlin quote for you to ponder: "you are what you put on tape"

MT's tape is at least 11 years of enabling behavior with a ton of players going rouge in person or social media. It's not disputable what we've seen. AB was just the tip of the iceburg.

Seriously. I mean, this dude isn’t a fan, but a supposed professional local journalist for the PG and he doesn’t shut up about his Ben hate.

Glad everyone can get their parting shots in!

Roth made some really stupid decisions in his youth and was more or less a total dick.

So I can understand why there are people who dislike him.

It is what it is, and especially with the sexual assault allegations, only he and those two women know what happened.

If he got railroaded and accused falsely or he is guilty and got a second chance in life that he hopefully isn’t wasting - we will likely never know.

Truthfully, I had a hard time getting emotional watching his goodbye last night. Outside of the personal side, his last decade of football has been statistically good during the regular season, but nothing short of a disaster in the playoffs.

I thought early on Ben would win 4- 5 SB's and be a top 5 qb all time. After Whiz left, he plateaued and relied on his size and mobility to play school yard football. While fun, it led to a erratic offense, capable of lighting up or crapping the bed against any opponent, good or bad.

I'll again point out how everyone in the media came to Antonio Brown's defense when he was trashing Ben. Imagine disliking someone so much that you take AB's side of the story on anything.

And I hate to pin it on 1 journalist, but prior to the last SB people were kinda uneven about Ben. The allegations were recent, but he played well and was in the SB and fans tend to forgive things based on your play. Then the FFPK (Fat f*** Peter King) came out with his hit piece and hating Ben became en vogue again.

Goodell unfairly rats out Steelers over Big Ben

I'll list a handful of players and you can tell me their Q rating among the media/fans- all of them are universally lauded.

Ray Lewis
Peyton Manning
Marvin Harrison
Brett Favre

Hell you could add Miles Garrett to the list. He brained a person with his helmet on national tv, libeled a fellow union member claiming he was a racist and everyone says what a good guy he is nowadays.

So why is Ben any different than the aforementioned players? There is no good answer except the media hates him

Gonna be hard for Tomlin to take a job that isn’t open anymore

Oh well, can't complain with 2 SB. They should have beaten GB. The big what ifs are:
#1 - if NE didn't cheat we would have atleast 1 more SB
#2 - What if Wisenhunt or Arians were HC

This is a really good post.

Look, I made my elementary-age daughter stop wearing her #7 jersey (which she received as a gift) after the sexual assault allegations came out. And I’ve rolled my eyes at his diva-esque comments on more than one occasion. I’m hardly here to paint an overly-rosy picture or hail the guy as a paragon of virtue. But you’re damn right people are picking and choosing their standards inconsistently.

Something tells me that they already have a deal in place for Deshawn Watson........

That's a "tomlin guy", and probably why they Canada at OC.

What makes you think they have a deal in place? The only team I’ve seen linked to Watson was Miami. Watson may not even play next year. How is Watson a “Tomlin guy”?

Whisenhut outside of his Arizona time with Warner sucked as an a coach and hie is currently a offense stat guy in college and arians would have killed ben
