You and I are on the exact same page here. He is an electric runner and its fun to watch him do spin moves and all this other stuff. But when he trails in a game and is forced to rely on his arm and he cant use his legs to come back he simply isn't good enough to do it
It just gets tiresome or comical, depending on one’s POV, how the fans and media keep buying into the hype with running QBs.
Every time one of these guys comes along, he’s touted as this revolutionary player and yada, yada.
It takes the league a couple seasons to get tape on the guy, then like the Titans did, they force him to play to his weaknesses... in this case throwing outside the hashes.
Teams rarely see an option run offense, as it’s a dinosaur in the NFL for a reason. So it is going to give them trouble for awhile, but defenses will catch up to their offense eventually.
Jackson will then have to learn to run a pro set offense, and we will see if he can evolve or if he is just another in a long line of running QBs that flamed out.
