Henry is a bad dude.
I don't see any of the remaining defenses stopping him in the AFC. Titans could easily be a Superbowl team just because of him.

Also, going into those last couple weeks of the season, anyone that said the Steelers should be in the playoffs over the Titans need to stop watching football. Henry's yards alone are more than what our entire offense combined puts up. Duck Hodges in the playoffs would have been the worst QB to ever take a snap in the post season.

I’m happy the Pats and Ravens are out of the playoffs, but this team isn’t making all of the necessary personnel changes to make the team a legit competitor. We will all be in this same spot next year, the Steelers not in the playoffs and us rooting against Baltimore or the Pats.

Thank you Titans for knocking out the Pats and Ravens.

I just saw. Patriots and now the Ravens.

I hereby proclaim today to be Titans Day in Pittsburgh.

Seeing what the Titans did, and knowing how the Steelers would have folded like a cheap tent, makes missing the playoffs a little more sweet.

As for why I missed the game, it is Restaurant Week. Went with friends to Superior Motors in Braddock. A very good meal trumps almost anything except for maybe a new pair of high end shoes. I am sure someone here will back me in this.

The Titans helped me win some money and prove my point about Lamar Jackson to people who think I'm just a hater. Great night.

Glad that the Ravens lost, glad that you won some money. However, I am not sure that the Titans, a team who dominated the Patriots and now the Ravens, beating Baltimore proves anything about anyone other than that the Titans are playing the best football of any team in the playoffs right now.

I donno. Is everyone sleeping on San Francisco? Everyone everywhere is saying Titans are the best team in the league right now.

Obviously I can see why, but not more than a few hours ago the Niners whooped up the Vikings the same way the Titans won. Gave an absolutely crushing defensive line performance. While their offensive put up some impressive plays. They made the vikings look juvenile - a team which just beat the Saints.
Soooo.... yeah. Thats all I have.

The Titans were that team coming in with such moment that they were always going to be a tough out. But they did help prove (not really to anyone on here, more so others) that Lamar isn't as good as people think and that he isn't built to come from behind because he isn't a consistent enough thrower

I wanted Lamar to win just because he is exciting and he would guarantee exciting games. All I care about is good and exciting games to watch....
Him losing is fine as the ravens are our mortal enemy.
Looking at that ugly crumple face pout cry and self-destruct out there was pure gold. I'm happy Lamar choked.

I didn't read the other pages cause I just got in, but resting him for THREE weeks was a major major major blunder. He had no rhythm, no flow, no anything.
After that opening drive interception he threw changed the entire sway of the game. He was playing so angry after that moment. Then the 14 zip lead he just imploded.

Why you would ever give your flowing unstoppable QB a THREE week break when teams are going to be filthy hungry ... I'll never get.

Henry is as dominate a running as Le'Veon was his last year with the Steelers. No one is going to stop Henry and I think Tennessee cruises to a Super Bowl.

Any cock-eyed yinzer optimists out there who think the Steelers would be doing exactly what the Titans are had they made the playoffs?

Bell against the Dolphins in the 2017 (2016 season) WC game: 167 rushing, 2 TDs

Div game: 170 rushing

AFCCG (in Foxboro, of course): 20 yds, injured and didn’t return, even though he allegedly could have.

Road block could always come. But I’d trust Henry more than Bell.

Jackson is fun to watch, but his path so far seems the same as all these running QBs over hyped as the next big thing before him.

We’ll see how it goes the next couple of years, but I’ll always be adamant a QB needs to be a pure thrower that can dissect a defense, to be a championship caliber, franchise guy.

Is Henry and FA after this season? Dude is gonna get paid. To think he actually sat as the number 2 for a couple seasons as well.

You and I are on the exact same page here. He is an electric runner and its fun to watch him do spin moves and all this other stuff. But when he trails in a game and is forced to rely on his arm and he cant use his legs to come back he simply isn't good enough to do it

Your lucky I know no one that bet on the Titans. They have already had a great playoffs. No matter what happens to them next.

I had them at +10, but I didn't think they'd win straight up. I was out and didn't see the game, but weird stats: Jackson put up over 500 yards combined rushing and passing and the Ravens put up 12 points. I assume Ratbirds were chasing points and piled up yards between the 20s and couldn't finish TDs. They're not built for playing catch-up and it sounds like that was proven here.

Titans got up 14-0 early and Jackson put up most of his numbers against soft zones because the Titans were up 28-6 for a good portion of time

If anyone wants to see what Jackson would look like with a pro arm, see #1 overall pick in 2021.
