The biggest issue is they want to be a run first ball control offense and they suck at running the ball. They are 3rd from the bottom in YPC and that is with Fields having a 4.6 YPC. take away Fields and they are probably the worst team in the league.
Exactly right. It's nice to WANT to be a ball control/run team. But what happens when you uh, can't run the ball?

Their efficiency at running sucks bc they don't have elite RB's like Det, Philly or SF.

Get a good runner and they'd score more TDs, especially in the RZ

How in the hell do you justify not throwing it to Pickens here? Unreal...

Too risky to have your veteran of 13 years, Super Bowl winning QB to change the play at the line.
He has changed the play often this season. The refs were a little slow spotting the ball and with the substitution of browns players. Tomlin said the coaches didn’t get the play ik fast enough so it hurt the short yardage package against Cleveland

Harris has the same amount of 100 yard games as Gibbs and more than Montgomery. Fields 5 rushing tds goes to Najee this is even closer. Right now we don’t have a wr like Williams or o line like they have. I do think we look better as a team if warren was healthy all season

Some of yinz are ridiculously over the top in slamming Tomlin, but this sort of nonsense is indefensible and is up there with the shit last year when he said he decides whether to challenge plays based on replays on the stadium scoreboard. The fact Tomlin either doesn't have or won't allow someone to manage this sort of stuff is absurd for 2024 and with the technology that exists.

Did the numbers. This offence is currently bottom 5 for rushing + passing touchdowns and at a near identical number to last year's pace. Kinda ugly.

eta: Apparently this isn't true as ESPN isn't a reliable source for numbers. Ope.

I love how the Bears coach makes one questionable/bad decision and gets fired…meanwhile Tomlin makes at least 20 horrible decisions a season, including game-losing decisions like we had last game, and he gets many contract extensions lol…

Eberflus was 14-32. Tomlin is a long way from that. This comparison is so crazy that it's like Antonio Brown and George Pickens had a baby, and that baby became a helmet and psychedelic tester who thought Britney Spears was the second coming of Jesus.

Ah well. If you were exaggerating, I was exaggerating... but if you'd meant that with complete sincerity, so too would I!

The bears have lost multiple games this season because of their hc. It wasn’t a single mistake.

And the Steelers have lost multiple games over the years due to Tomlin’s inadequacies and yet he’s extended multiple times…
Because Tomlin always raises the floor of his team.
This season the bears were supposed to be a playoff team they had a top 5 defense an elite wr room and a franchise Qb ruined by the oc hire. They have lost 6 games in a row

It makes me sad that Brock Bowers will spedn the prime of his career playing with utter shit
