Yeah realistically that part of town is basically campus. South campus runs right into the city as you know. I can see that being way too big of a problem.

I agree and that could be the difference alone, but also Howard. 2 plays stand out -- that INT is not coaching. That's really bad decision making again with field position. They trust him to throw - he has to do better.

Also there is an EASY offsides call if he recognizes and snaps the ball. The dude was running 40 yards off the field. Entire crowd yelling SNAP IT. No line judge stopping it. And we allow them to walk off the field and snap. It worked for us, but why? Like get the easy first down.

That run to the outside on the near side was moronic and throwing to the near side on that pick play was f***ing stupid
 
I'll just say "I told ya so" :laugh:

And in all honesty it's not about being right. This is like 2015/16 Pens. I kept saying "There is something here - they just need some speed" and 2 Cups later. Same in 09.

Sometimes you can just see it. Howard missed a WIDE open RB on the last set of downs causing us to punt. He throws an INT here after playing field position. He let his defense down by throwing a pick after they got the back in the first half.

If this guy leads us to a National Championship, i'll be utterly shocked. I don't think he's "bad". I think that's the misunderstanding here. I just don't think he's a guy who can lead this team to a title.

This is embarrassing. Fire Day and the entire coaching staff.
 
So. Unfortunately 18's worst game by far. I'm not gonna discuss that any further.

Day has to go. But. In this day and age.. you fire your coach - you are losing half your team. The talent is there. (except on the o-line). So you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Like idk what their gameplan was all week. Michigan has one strength and we went straight into it like wtf. This loss is 100% on coaching. And college kicking.

So penn state is going to the championship game
Ohio State has 3 nfl wr and refused to throw it no uptempo now they might have to go on the road in the playoffs

They were more prepared and fired up to beat Indiana than they were Michigan. That’s a fact. I have no idea what the offensive game plan was bc there was none. You have a patchwork offensive line and try to prove a point by running it into the teeth where Michigan had an advantage? f***ing dumb. But yeah Day has got to go. Inexcusable.

Yeah can we have a separate CFB thread?

Davis Warren running his yap after going 9/16 62 yds and 2 picks. mannnnn.

I'd go Hartline if we go that route. I don't see it at this point but unless Day wins the Natty you gotta move on.

Again to harp on it. Mich doesn't have a qb. They literally have to run the ball. They are built to out physical you. Meanwhile, OSU has 3 starting receivers you will see play on Sundays and more likely behind them. Down two offensive linemen. Listen - I would love to be tough and straight out physical opponents. Guess what, its not us. BUT. Great thing is you don't always have to be when you have skill out the wazoo.

I have 0 powers. They retired my mod jersey in the rafters and then set it on fire.

I tried tellin' yall. #18 is not what you think he is. He made these mistakes in pretty much every game. The same mistakes. Missed wide open receivers on crucial sets of downs. Terrible mistakes at the worst places.

That defense played well enough. Day, who should no longer be named, can f*** off. He's an absolute fraud. James Franklin bad.

Idk about you but I don’t miss being a mod myself :laugh:

I lay the blame on coaching. And I personally believe he was concussed after that hit and should not have been able to come back in.

The culture that was built by Tressel after Cooper and then turned up to 11 by Urban has been pissed away.
