I’ve been loosely following this year’s QB class because of how hyped it was, and I think it’s going to be a good example of why you don’t wait until a supposedly better class if a QB you like is available.

Young and Stroud are still better as prospects than any QB from last year, but I don’t think they’re the mega prospects they were made out to be. And the rest of the class seems like it’s been extremely disappointing.

Yep.

Mahomes and Allen and Herbert and to some extent Jackson were not expected to be part of the next generation of great NFL quarterbacks. But here we are.

Great quarterbacks don’t necessarily come from supposedly great quarterback classes.
