He's been toast for years and somehow fooling GMs into keeping him. His ability to create structure is atrocious.

There's no real evaluating the players on this team until a fresh coach is installed. I have zero ill feelings of gaining EK for peanuts...not one Pens fan expects him to score 100 here lol.

Cool beans. The Pens have talent old or not that could be harnessed into a playoff team. Successful or not remains to be seen. With Sullivan they'll probably finish just outside like last season.

Sorry I don't keep up with the kids and opinions. EK is an awesome player to watch if you have realistic expectations. I mean the dude is amazing at what he's good at. Is he perfect. Nah. Is he entertaining. You bet.

Did you watch any of his games with the Sharks? I've seen him both last year and this year. There's a huge difference in how he's deployed and a lot less running around trying to play one man army this year on a legitimate team.

Karlsson won a Norris last year.

Nobody in PIT or otherwise thought he was winning one this year. Nobody cares about your hang ups on Karlsson. He has added a ton to this PIT team for basically the cost of getting out of two bad contracts in Petry and Granlund.
