It’s hard to figure out who to even spend time watching. My only real observation so far is that Jordan Hawkins’ FT form is as close to perfection as it gets. That 89% is repeatable.
He and Andre Jackson will both be rotation pieces in the league. Is Jackson ever learns to shoot he will be very good. Has all the intangibles and is a great leader. If the 76ers can buy a 2nd round pick they should look at him.

An organization that doesn't have a 1st or 2nd rounder in any given draft is not a good org in my opinion...period. It is quite frankly poor asset management. Sixers should be ashamed of themselves. Let's see if they can buy one....

Ah. They were expected to re-sign Green, so this is largely about Thompson in a way - is that right?

It's both.

So basically what happened is that the new CBA added massive penalties for being over the cap by more than 17.5 MM. The actual number might be slightly different, but you get the idea. You'll see this referred to as the "second apron." Previously, the Warriors were just going to pay the penalties. Now it's prohibitive, so they had to ditch someone making huge money. Poole got a massive extension last year, so it was him.

You had to figure it was coming in some form or other sooner or later.
Saudi fund owns Newcastle in the Premier league I believe... I've also read how much higher value some MLS teams have compared to even some other European teams just because there's no threat of relegation in MLS. I would think MLB/NFL/NHL/NBA being even more high profile would check-off that box immensely for foreign fund groups.
