I am curious. For those that follow the league more, do you think them hiring Nurse means Harden walks? From what I've heard I wouldn't think they would work well together.

I highly doubt Morey would definitively close off re-signing Harden based on hiring a coach. It’s apparent Harden didn’t like Rivers, and he’s gone.

Harden wants his bag; he gets it from the Sixers or he doesn’t. Or he already made up his mind to leave because he has delusions about being MVP Harden. Nurse is a great coach, but I’m sure whoever the coach was that the pitch/messaging to Harden’s camp remains the same.

Thank you. I only know about Nurse from the playoffs. Just seems like an uptempo kind of guy that seems to clash with Harden. But either way,, f*** Boston . Losers lol

Actually....could be the opposite with Harden.

FVV plays slow...Harden same
Nick let's his guys have free range in offense which Harden will like...as will Maxey
They WILL push the pace on a rebound and try and score in transition
He will trust the vets to figure out offense

It's on defense where Nurse will focus. He will run different schemes and looks at guys...especially star players. But one fault is he allows corner 3's too often with his schemes. Now in saying that, that was more since Gasol left. So having a C like Embiid changes things. But what we do know, is that with Gasol at C, Nick helped keep Embiid to 0 points one game. That's impressive. He will xcheme against stars and make the next tier guys beat you. With the Raps being a mid level team the last few years, it didn't matter. With the 76ers being a top 3 team in the East, expect good things.

Oh, and expect him to play defense 1st guys over offensive 1st guys when it comes to bench players.
