Oh my god. I’m going to watch that Embiid Maxey half court sequence on loop. That was utterly gorgeous movement and creativity. Like one of the better ones I can recall for the Sixers.

This is some of the best pace I remember from Embiid. It’s decisive. Like I said earlier, his interest to play-make for others is taking me back to the Simmons holdout.

You don’t replace the minivan. You just hope someone can follow in his tire tracks.

It's early, and I think it'll take Nurse 20-40 games to really get these guys on the same page, at times they moved on offense, then fell back into the River's stagnant spacing. That's the bad side of Maxey/Embiid, they're so good it lulls teammates into being passive.

I think what is exciting is when they get the second unit on the same page defensively, probably want to go 9 deep with Reed, Oubre, House and ??? of the bench. The ??? is probably why Morey is holding out for Mann. Springer has to learn how to stay out of foul trouble, but I think Beverley and Green are cooked, and can't even bring Niang's offense to the table. If Springer can learn to play with more discipline, he has the potential to be an elite defender.

Reed just has to relax, he's trying too hard to justify his new contract.
Oubre is a work in progress, he has the tools to be 6th man of the year, just has to pick his spots, not force things and work on his defense.
House is "OK."

Got to move Harden, this is a team that can run, but put him out there for regular minutes and they'll become static again. He can't help it, his ego will never allow him to "fit in," he has to have the spotlight.
