It's all about timing when it comes to tanking.
The Oilers got Hall, Nuge, Yak.
The Pens got Fleury, Sid, Malkin, Staal. Honestly, only Sid would've been enough.

Good news for Oilers: McDavid is less than 2 years away :laugh:

He was always overrated because of one game. Look at how we speak about Desharnais around here, and DD had proven a lot more than that.

He can still be nice depth scorer, but the overreaction about not drafting him around here was interesting. :laugh:

He isn't showing signs of genius as he was being portrayed with during their overreaction.

1 goal in 5 games isn't so bad for a new kid. It's too early to tell.

It's funny how good Ottawa is when they don't get all world goaltending. Also, with Karlsson being a horrid defenseman so far this year expectations should be tempered in the Nations Capital.

I was never impressed with the Sens anyway, so this is just a bit of early validation. Side note; our defense sucks too :cry:

Shots are 23-7 and Leafs are up 3-1, this is so weird!

It'll be interesting to see what happens when they go up against Chicago in 2 games.
