To me, that roster is not far off from Canada's, at all.

Interesting to see Callahan in that big a role, I think lines 2 and 3 are probably mixed.

USA lines at practice this morning:

JVR - Pavelski - Kessel
Parise - Backes - Callahan
Pacioretty - Kesler - Kane
Brown - Stastny - Oshie
Wheeler/Stepan

Suter - Shattenkirk
McDonagh - Carlson
Martin - Orpik
Fowler - Faulk

Miller also hinted to start.

I could take one of Martin/Orpik over one of Fowler/Faulk.

But both?

**** you, Bylsma.

This. How the **** is Orpik playing over Faulk or Fowler? Martin I'm ok with. Kinda.

Brooks Orpik can only play defense by clutching and grabbing.

Yup. Martin is good though. He's struggled with injuries, but he's a top notch D-Man. Orpik on the other hand, shouldn't be sniffing this team, let alone the ice.

Games with Rangers in the lineup, guess you need some days off to watch them live ;)
Starting times are ET.

BTW, if I hear another pundit say Soshi, I will put a hole through my TV. I know that ENGLISH grammar says that a "ch" preceding an "i" is pronounced "sh" (unless there's an e afterwards), but Sochi is not located in an english speaking country. It's pronounced Sochi (in fact it's actually pronounced Sawchi, but I'll give english speakers a break there).

Hey all, I made some Team USA avatars for the Main Olympics Thread. Anyone and everyone can use them. Here's McDonagh, Callahan, and Stepan for anyone interested:

Better than my friend that thinks he's so innovative and culturally perfect. He goes "it's actually pronounced like sock-eye". :shakehead:

Parise-Backes-Callahan
Brown-Kesler-Kane
Kessel-Pavelski-van Riemsdyk
Pacioretty-Stastny-Oshie

Martin-Suter
Orpik-Carlson
Shattenkirk-McDonagh
Fowler-Faulk

These are the lines from the third practice. **** you Bylsma.

What the mother**** is this? Suter and McD on the right? McD on the third pair? Martin on the first? Orpik on the second?
And lol at Callahan on the first line. This is Olympic ice. Grinding it out should not be the main priority. I can see why penguins fans hate this guy. What a joke.

Team USA is going to get *******ed with these lines and pairings... go Norway!

We're cussing out a guy who hasn't coached the first game yet. He's experimenting. I can't imagine what the reaction in 1980 would have been when Rizzo was named captain.
