Why would you take away your own scoring chance though? It makes no sense. You can't rely on the ref calling a penalty or a PS. You don't take away your own scoring chance.

These games go by so much faster than NHL games. And it's not just because of less tv timeouts. Less stoppages in general. This game is taking just a bit over 2 hours. It's awesome.

It though to be happy with a loss, but I think we had a good game. To hold Canada to 3-1 is a strong performance from a team like Norway.

I agree. Norway made Canada look pretty pedestrian comparatively. It certainly helps other teams like the U.S. in the goal differential department. Goal differential is very important for seeding.

It was awful watching the 2nd period for me, but 3-1 is a result I can be happy with.
