No major for kunin boarding on trochek.
They say they want that play out of the game but if they let that go im not so sure they do.
Looked like a major and a suspension to me

I didn't get to see the game but...

How in the hell did this core win a prez trophy.

The Panarin line is a shell of itself
Pretty much your second line answered your first.
His line was top 3 in hockey last year. This year they aren't really even a line.
If they were even close to last years line we probably have 5 or 6 more wins.

The best you can hope for is that 93, Kreider and JT put up serious points down the stretch. Lifts their trade value. I know probably only one of three gets traded tho.

They used zibanejads picture for the GAME DAY TEEET and then when we lose 7-3 they use souvys picturez this entire francise needs to be extemrinated

If we've reached the point of bagging the GM for picking a guy in the middle of round 1 who everyone had slated to go on the middle of round 1, we are probably scrapping the bottom of the barrel for issues
A lot of teams passed on Johnson because he didn't play at all during his draft year. Dallas took a risk, and it paid off. Half of this board would have had the torches and pitchforks out if we had taken the Johnson mystery box.

Drury is far from perfect, but the guy seems to have the ability to see the obvious problems that many past GMs just ignore or have blind spots for. I have my complaints, but I think the blame for this season's woes falling on him is a bit unfair.

The team defense has been horrible, we have had terrible injury luck, everybody is underperforming, our Powerplay went from one of the best in the league to mid/bad with very little changes. Apart from changing the personnel which Drury has clearly attempted to do, I see this as a coaching issue.

Laviolette has to go. I championed his hiring, and I do still believe he is a good coach, but times have changed. Players don't react positively to the hard-ass act anymore. A guy like Mike Keenan would never be successful in today's NHL (Assuming he doesn't adapt).

Also Phil Housley has to go yesterday. The defense has gotten markedly worse under him, and we have seen major steps back from K'Andre, and Fox. There is no track record of success to this point with him, and I so reason why we shouldn't cut ties immediately. It will probably be something thats done in the offseason unless we get a few bad blowouts in a row, but I have 0 confidence in his ability as a coach of anything.

when we played the bottom of the barrel Preds and Isles and still needed our goalies to bail us out?

How did we need the goalie to bail us out? We were up 3-0 going into the third before the Predators put any pressure on us. If we did that down 3-0 in the third you'd be telling everyone how it was garbage time. Shesterkin faced like 20 shots against the Islanders. Seriously, why are the opinions on this board ALWAYS ALWAYS biased towards the negative? When we have a push in a blowout it doesn't matter it was a blowout, when the Preds do it our goalie bailed us out. I also don't know in what world is 20 shots on goal on Shesterkin is him bailing us out. It must be really tiring always viewing literally everything with a negative spin.

Back to back shutout, only 21 shots against in the Isles game. Even the Washington game we only allowed 23 shots. The last two games we're bleeding quality chances against not so great teams either, they're literally in the same spot as us.

Consider looking on the bright side. In 2012 Voyager I left the Heliosphere and Voyager II made it out in 2018.
In many thousands years from now they will both pass through the Oort Cloud and then will eventually be picked up by some Advanced Alien Civilization’s who will perceive us as a threat and come and wipe us out.
Now that is truly something to be upset about.
Talk about not fully thinking out an idea; am I right?
Sweet dreams everyone.

So he saw the defense was bad, and got more bad defensemen....3d chess.
