How many points could Sid have scored if he played with prime Rust, though? That's the question we need answered.

Numbers are pretty much a fake concept anyway. Have you ever seen a number 4 in the wild, breathing the same air as you? Didn’t think so.
Didn't Dupuis get his name on the 2016 Cup?He's Penguins years Pascal Dupuis, with Powerplay time.

If Rust was Derek Zoolander, that would be his Blue Steel.
He has one move, and that is it.
He didIf Dupuis played with Prime Crosby and Kunitz, he could have scored 160 points in a season and I'm not kidding.
Crosby's prime years.

I've thought about this, too. Obviously it's nice to not have to worry, because the Pens won 3 Cups. But I think Hossa is the most under-appreciated player I've watched in my lifetime. He was a BEAST all over the ice. I think he should have won a Selke. Guy just had insanely high hockey IQ. Could shoot, pass, and skate with the best of them, too. Shame we never got to see a prolonged period of Sid/Hoss together. It's interesting to imagine a world where Hossa re-signs and Sid doesn't get hurt a bunch. Do we end up with the same amount of cups still? Maybe.
I do know Sid/Hossa's regular season dominance wouldn't have been absurd.
But this is the Bryan Rust thread. And our man is elevating himself back into superstardom.
Really felt like him and Sid had figured each other out by the time the 08 playoffs ended too. The chemistry was there.I've thought about this, too.
