I do know Sid/Hossa's regular season dominance wouldn't have been absurd.

I've thought about this, too. Obviously it's nice to not have to worry, because the Pens won 3 Cups. But I think Hossa is the most under-appreciated player I've watched in my lifetime. He was a BEAST all over the ice. I think he should have won a Selke. Guy just had insanely high hockey IQ. Could shoot, pass, and skate with the best of them, too. Shame we never got to see a prolonged period of Sid/Hoss together.

Really felt like him and Sid had figured each other out by the time the 08 playoffs ended too. The chemistry was there.

It is still wild to me that the second greatest Slovak hockey player of all time had to jump to three cup contending franchises to actually win.

Now that I think about it, wasn’t there some weird Mikita thing for Hossa choosing Chicago anyhow?
