Reading the opinions here cause the team is improving are simply disgusting .
Buffalo tanked well . Sure served them , and we can name many . Learning to win is priceless . Had we been winning with 30 year old vets then I give you that . But we simply winning with our core blossoming . I would take that any day Instead of a few additional ping pong balls

Well, our win ties us with Ottawa again, but they hold the tie breaker, so we're still 6th. We move 3 pts up on Arizona with same gp. With only 8 games left, it's highly unlikely Coyotes pass Montreal now.

Montreal will be 3 pts back of Calgary with same gp since it looks like they'll lose to Ducks. Flames still have another game against Anaheim, 2 against SJS and one against Arizona.

The 6th - 7th spots will likely come down to the Ottawa game on the 13th.

Well, this thread is exactly about the perceived or actual benefit of gaining a few more ping pong balls.

yeah I hope they win most of those... at least it's a very good chance. so I'm not that worried we pass them... but would be nice if we could stay below Ottawa too

Just like the Expos used to do.. pile on strong when they have nothing to play for except personal stats at the end of the year. Get everyone excited for next year bc "look at their finish to the season".

Winning when your team is out of it is not equal to winning when your team has something on the line. These games aren't teaching them any more than some warm and fuzzies.

You just know that some of these makeshift warriors are going to do f*** all when they’ll be playing games that really matter. Can’t wait to find out who fits that bill.

Now we will make the mistake at taking Catton with like the 7-9th pick, a player i've come to dislike very much the last 3 games. Ugh. At least at 5 you have more choices. Maybe Kent can swing something and move up, we need a stud this year
