The top 14 in this year's draft are looking really good. Is it a weak draft after 14?

Some are already saying that this notion that it's a weak draft isn't true. I couldn't tell you either way. I just know many saying the following 14 are high end prospects:

Forwards:
Celebrini
Demidov
Lindstrom
Eiserman
Catton
Iginla
Helenius
Connolly

Dmen:
Levshunov
Yakumchuk
Parekh
Buium
Dickinson
Saliyev

I thought the view was that while the very top of the draft isn't strong and it isn't at deep as the 2023 draft, the top -10/12/14 is in general stronger than in 2023.

Islanders are my target too. They need LHD over RHD, so Harris, Winnipeg's 1st & Colorado's 2nd & Minnesota's 3rd might actually do it.

I'd take 2 forwards. Man, imagine Lindstrom & Catton. Or, Eiserman could be that 2nd pick. Islanders are ALL in now. Harris is young and they seem pretty happy with Romanov. The fact that almost all our players continue to be successful elsewhere: Lehkonen, Romanov, Monahan, Danault, Kulak means there isn't a bad player looks good on bad team involved.
Is not the price a little big high? If Winnipeg end up losing in the first round. The pick could be around #17-20. Islander pick would be around #11-15.

In a draft that is said to tail off after say 13, 14, or 15, the price will be high to go from say 20 to 12.

Ummm shouldn't we be waiting until the regular season is over before looking at a draft simulator.
The mathematical probabilities that you get a different starting position must be pretty high.
Which in turn has to effect the probabilities of getting a lotto winner winners or no winner?

But then again I'm about as equally a dancer as I am a mathematician.

i'm NOT intrigued for Catton after watching the first two games, he's been invisible and plays small.

Obviously it depends on where Winnipeg picks & how great the move up. I'm assuming right now #23-#24 and moving up 8-10 spots.

What did you think of Parascak?

He's been solid all year, so far really clutch in the playoffs too. Nice goals, nothing cheezy.. Spokane has been awful in Prince George, Catton's one assist i'm not sure how it even got accredited to him he was so uninvolved in the play lol. His second assist came when the cats relaxed really hard after being up 6-1

I hope Catton has a big game because they go for 3 in spokane now, if he doesn't shine at home in this scenario it will be a bad look for him based on his rankings. PG is a pretty big nasty team, they will be tough to come out against.

There's actually 2. The Draft Prospects one hasn't been updated since last fall.

That would be a sick draft imo. Good mix of skill and size.

Already looking forward to the draft.
