would be nice if the flames and blues gets to over time.

Columbus has been out playing oilers ... but man, Edmonton is just scary right now

I'm not wasting any hope on the sharks to do anything against the rangers lol

I'm not a huge oilers fan, but it's nice to see hockey all over the sporting news with their winning streak. It would be nice if they kept it up.

I can respect your opinion here... but that's a hard no for me.. I want Columbus to get some points and eventually pass us... but it's looking like the oil are gonna keep the streak alive regardless of my wishes lmao

f***ing Buffalo... do something!

The Jackets was an obvious one tonight, Buffalo is f***ing useless . I still think they finish the season ahead of us though
Jackets were looking pretty good for most of the game... but it's the oilers... only takes a minute and they can pot a few goals. so yeah I didn't have high hopes

but my God Buffalo looks horrible... their goalie looking like he doesn't even care lol

how can you be that bad for that long and not get any better?! like you have to actively try to be bad to achieve that shit

.. hey at least their goalie has made a few nice saves now... but they making the duck look like the oilers atm 🤣

Do you realize that excluding one fluke covid year, the Habs have been just as bad since 2017? And that the more they tank the most likely they ll be as bad as the sabres :D

Do you realize the sabers have been horrible with no play offs since 2011? not even close to the same level, bud... and most teams that tank come out of it being competitive again way before year 13.... sooooo... I'm not sure what your point is here... just being cheeky? lol

...also, say what you want about the covid year... but, we watched our boys make the final... excuse it away all you want... but the Habs made the Stanley cup final in 2021. and beat some great teams to do so. dems the facts.

but hey, if we get to the point where our team goes 13 years of bottom dwelling with no brighter future in sight.. then your statement will have some relevance lol

If I’m not seeing it wrong isn’t there 3 centres(celebrities, lindstrom, helenius) and 2 wingers (Demidov, eiserman) in the top 8 and we’re looking increasingly likely to pick around 5th? Doesn’t that bode well for getting more offensive talent

Habs also beat the Pens in the 2020 playoffs as well.

There are a couple of Blueliners that Mackenzie had in his top five. So if we’re say sixth, there’s a good chance we get Eiserman or Lindstrom. Plus we could trade up if need be. This is the kind of draft where you might be able to do it.

Same here – I can't believe Buffalo won't string together a few wins. Okay... maybe in 2028, but eventually, right?

I still think they pass us, leaving us firmly in 6th. No way will we break into the bottom-5 – those teams are unreachably bad. It doesn't matter if Ottawa beats us when their franchise remains such a shitstorm.

I wonder what it would cost to move up one or two spots. Last year would've been impossible – nobody was giving up a top-3/4 spot. This year? If the top 7 or 8 are close, Hughes might gamble the guy we want is available without having to trade up for him.
