This is what kills me. Our PK has played the same stagnant docile passive style ever since Therrien came back.
I'm sorry but not being able to hit 78% which is still bottom half of the league is not acceptable rebuild or no.
34 goals given up on our PK is worst in the league I don't care about any other stat.
To put it in context we'd need the best PP in the league to break even. :help:
The thing I find disturbing is our team has no faith in our defenders being able to force errors.
Nope we have to wait for the unforced errors and hope we find a lane to clear the puck.
I will keep saying that this coaching staff is simply not good enough.

Enough with these nail biter regulation Ls, let's grab a good old fashioned blowout loss tonight. 6-2 with Caufield and Slafkovsky goals, thanks!

Tampa should be hungry, they are fighting for the playoffs and the Rangers blew them out last night. We'll get their crappy backup though of course.

I just hope Chicago don't win the lottery...It would be horrible to see both Bedard and Celebrini on the same team.
If they did, maybe we can trade for Moore with some of our surplus Ds. Imagine we draft another LD or RD with a top 10 pick. We'll need to trade at some point to guarantee ice time.

Letowski is a mute and Burrows is incompetent

8th, not bad.

I hope the Habs' add one more impact forward from this draft, and one more from the Calgary pick.

Though the Calgary pick is not looking good due to Florida's continued strength. View attachment 793260
Florida has a lot of UFAs. We'll see how good they will be next year. The cap going up by so much this year really might have a big impact on the Florida pick for 2025.

Deep down you are not wrong but I always watch hoping for entertainment and even a good win. I definitely watch to see the kids do well.
I feel the same honestly. Bluntly, hoping for losses is all fun and games when projecting a desired draft rank and specific prospect, but when the games come on... can't help but want them to do well and win.

I hate this phase of the Habs franchise, maybe it's "what needs to be done", but deep down, I miss having even an average team that would over perform. Only to have the "right" to hope and expect a win.

Can't wait to spend like a drunken sailor on UFA, tradeline et trade good prospects for established known quantities. You know, go for it.

Also, I miss having a franchise player. Price was back there, everything was going to be fine. What a luxury.

Marty and Robidas are great.

Letowski is a mute and Burrows is incompetent
I have no idea what Letowski does as an assistant coach.

Robidas is on the D and he seems to be doing a good job with all the rookies/kids there.

Burrows has the PP/offensive special units and does a shit job at making his players move and be unpredictable and haven't told Matheson to pass on his
right more or the message isn't getting throught.

MSL takes care of most aspect during practices. So what does Letowski do????

Says nothing and scours the crowd for teenagers?

Maybe our strategy is to corner the D market so there are not enough on other teams then start a bidding war?:dunno:

Marty is great? I don't see it. The lack of adjustments, the lack of accountability with the vets.

The buck stops with the HC
Was a fan of the MSL hiring at first. I think he’s done well with some younger players, but I think his impact there is greatly overstated. As an X’s and Y’s coach he just doesn’t have any value.
