I rotate my masks. I'm currently using Asian lady driver...

about a year ago i was driving up the 405 from Irvine and I look to my left and see this (presumably) asian lady driving. She had the visor on here car down and then another flap of some tinted plastic or something extending down further into her view. She also had on one of those masks in your picture and one of those welding mask poker visor things. I was wondering how the **** she could even see.

not to stereotype but if the glove fits.

speaking of gloves, did she have one on her left arm that went all the way up to her shoulder?

sometimes they substitute with a towel

I honestly want to say yes but I don't remember for sure. I think she had gloves on both sleeves. I did try to take a picture because it was incredibly ridiculous but I didn't want to crash my sweet ride.

It is a pretty ****ing sweet ride too.

This .gif really is simultaneously hilarious and scary. Dude is lucky that thing didn't take his backpack or rip his face off while he was down. I read awhile ago that in India, they actually rent out sticks/rods as weapons for tourists to beat the monkeys off (huhhuhuhuhuh)...

We'll just beat you down with your sticks/rods. Best bet to stay on our good side is to be armed with bananas. Bribe a monkey with a banana and yo have one helluva bodyguard.

I've been to Ham N Scram and it was pretty good! I'm still a fan of Kelly's donuts when I'm in HB or Fountain Valley.

There is also this place called Nates Korner in Costa Mesa that I'm going to try. It's down the road from my new office.

Where is your office? I'm at red hill / MacArthur maybe a mile from Nate's corner

It is right up your alley. It is Mexican/Asian fusion

http://www.doschinos.com/

They have a location in Santa ana, but the truck has more variety.

are you saying that to spite me?

i'm familiar with them, i saw them on some random food show(can't remember which one).

ever since stood in line for my first kogi truck for 40min and ordered like 5 different things on the menu, i've never really seen the appeal of the fusion there. i tried to like it, i really did but i guess i just prefer the cuisines independent of each other. :dunno:

i like tacos, i like korean food. that said, i do think some fusion works but if im going for my ever loving tacos i suppose i just want them to taste like tacos. boring, i know

and that's not to take anything away from roy choi, he's done a great job and made more of it than anyone could have imagined and people fricking LOVE that kogi truck.

i'm very curious to see how successful his new venture : loco'l does in these inner city neighborhoods.

Are you talking about 4th street market or is there another location?

This is much more fusionistic (I totally invented a word there)

It is mexican tacos and burritos with asian sauces

This is their "Hollywood chicken" which is a thai-style curry
