I didn't mind it. That said, they are making great pains to avoid explaining where the virus/whatever came from and taking massive leaps in assumptions (like a coliseum full of 2,000 people "turned all at once").

I'll keep watching the show, but the explanation of how society collapsed, which was insinuated as starting the show when society is just starting to hear about some illness, has failed. Just call it what it is, a spin off.
