1 hour 5 minutes until Fear The Walking Dead.
I figure that one of them has to get eaten or bit tonight. They'll probably be some cheering tonight, maybe a "no way".

I expect big things. There will be blood

I don't think we'll be short bells this kettle season... I just bought a set of 50 kettle bells on ebay (almost to a T what I'm currently using at my kettle) for $20 (including shipping)... There's 15 reindeer and 15 Christmas tree bells in this lot that will be donated to the corps du ding-a-ling...

I'm usually buying them in bulk at Wally World... Looks like ebay saved me a trip...

I think I am going to buy a pack of bacon pieces/ends and smoke them covered in brown sugar to make hickory smoked candied bacon pieces. For America.

I wouldn't touch VW stock right now. The worst hasn't even happened. It's gonna get really ugly.

VW falsified emissions through special code to run differently during EPA testing. They rigged the tests to give favorable, unrealistic results that weren't sustainable. They defrauded the EPA

It's funny how no one brings up Bernie's age. Guess it's only a problem when it's a GOP candidate. That's all we heard about in 2007-2008.

Chris Rock: "John McCain! 72 years old! He was too old 10 years ago! . . . How are you going to make decisions about the future when you ain't gonna be here?"

Totally NSFW but that was great standup.

Thank you

When a stock drops so much, is it a good idea to buy and if it is when?
It depends why the stock fell. Sometimes you can make really good money from a stock that was unfairly beat up.

A 20% crash is overreactive, it will go back up at least 10% in the short term.
When this Richard steps down or is replace , the stock will have several good days in a row
CEO Martin Winterkorn, who survived an attempt to remove him from his position earlier this year, apologized to customers on Sunday for breaking their trust

But this will drive it back down an amount(not 20% though) when this is settled or goes to court
Owners of the "CleanDiesel" automobiles have filed a class action lawsuit against Volkswagen

It's gonna go lower. VW's US market share is built on their TDI line and they only have a 3.5% market share. They are absolutely ****ed.

Diesel cars suck anyways. Never understood the fascination.

Diesels are better engines that last longer and are more efficient.

If you plan to keep a car for 250,000 miles +, then diesel does make sense. If you lease and trade your car in every 2 years, diesel is dumb

Any modern engine will last that duration though with proper maintenance. Diesels can become really problematic very quickly - especially the injectors. I think gasoline engines are superior in every way. There are numerous gas cars that will match their diesel counterparts in efficiency while being considerably cheaper.

Manufacturers (European ones in particular) boast how efficient Diesels are (not more so than a gas engine) and how fun they are to drive. Diesel engines aren't fun to drive. Only diesel vehicle I would own is a truck for the towing torque.
