It is, but this was more IPA. More hops then grapefruit. Still drank it. Honestly nice change of pace since I've been to hooked on the high alcohol beers like barley wine. To many steaks made with those.

I could use a steak right now. I play music in Hoboken at a place that has their own IPA and i'm hooked on it. I forgot where it is made though. I'll have to find out

I'm blasted on a six pack of some weird grapefruit beer that doesn't taste like grapefruit.

Is it Schofferhofer?

Why doesn't Bottle King bottle Rangers fans tears? I would spend like...over 75 dollars for that.

There is a place in Hoboken that brews their own beers? Man I haven't been down there in a while. I didn't know this.

I don't think they brew it. they call it their "own" ipa but I'm pretty sure the keg/beer is produced outside of the restaurant. it's good nonetheless and exclusive to the place.

Summit Maibock is a very good beer and the liquor store near my house has it 9.99 a twelve pack.

of course on sundays you can't buy beer in minnesota because of ass backwards blue laws so i'll just smoke weed in my garage instead.

Blantons should be on the list at some point.
Yes it is.
My brother keeps telling me to get Willet Pot Still Reserve

Can't tell you why but I picked up a 12 of Shiner Ruby Redbird today.

Am 7 in and it start tasting good around 5. Prob cuz they are now really cold.

My old lady went with a local brewery, Cricket Hill Jersey Summer Breakfest Ale.

She gives it a thumbs up but I don't like it.

Saturday 4th turns out to not be so fun.

So I have a really far view of a good chunk of north jersey. One of my favorite things is getting tossed on the balcony and watching every town do their fireworks at once.

But everyone as spread it out over three days. Got the meadowlands tonight. Secaucus last night as the closest.

Well at least I got some good red wine.

You in North Bergen still? My uncle lived at the top of the hill in Palisades Park off of Bergen Blvd. You could always see the Meadowlands, Pulaski Skyway, and even Newark Airport from there.

My cousins lived off of Bergen Blvd in Ridgefield when I was little, same view there too. My uncle had friends and lived there with them on 85th st in North Bergen for a little while. They had the same view too.

I'm from Cliffside Park, you don't get the view to the West from anywhere in Cliffside. The cliff goes down again as you go into Fairview and then goes back up again once you reach Bergen Blvd. Though you get a pretty good view of the East and the city in Cliffside. I used to love that view to the West though. Of course the Meadowlands view is slightly obstructed in some spots now and has been for the last 10 years or so, thanks to the eyesore that is Xanadu or American Dream, or whatever the hell they're calling that now.

new value favorite

$31 bottle and before I even got up to the checkout I had three people tell me "good choice".

VERY GOOD.

Heard good things, but haven't gotten to it yet. in my price range though

I have been in search of a good cheap bourbon (under $20) for just having on a regular basis.

I liked the Very old Barton ($16) , was very surprised by it. Bought Buffalo trace(maker of Eagle Rare also)

at the same time ($26?) and actually liked the Barton Better.

I went in to get a refill on the Barton, but they were out, so they recommended Benchmark

as a similar "inexpensive" bourbon. Gonna crack into it tonight. Think it was $16 and is made by Buffalo Trace, so I am eager to see how it differs. think its a 8year. All the reviews I have read about it are great.

BUlleit is another good one too. Had a few people recommend it, so I took a few glasses, and really liked it. Feel like I am expanding my pallet.
Its amazing, my first taste of Wild turkey was at like 15yrs old, And I couldn't believe people drank what tasted like an old leather shoe.
